TCB is a stubborn little binary. Scientists keep telling it when to go novae, but it’s going to do what it’s going to do. It’s hard to predict gravity and gas pressures/temps and we just have to wait. I think the prediction is now within about a year? It may continue to surprise us because you can’t put the universe in a box. 3 I Atlas is a great example: what the hell is it? Who knows. We can wait and watch. I guess humans just hate to spectate in the back seat.
I for one WELCOME our new 3I Atlas Alien Overlords.
They’re been talking about tCB for some time. Isn’t Betelgeuse another one they’re predicting to go Nova?

Been watching for and started photographing TCrB for more than a year now. It needs to fish or cut bait.
