The male flight attendant had just arrived at Atlanta Airport and was in his uniform when he began accusing the female gate agent of displaying unprofessionalism and being 'ghetto.'
As the pair walk through the terminal, he says: 'This is ridiculous. This is the worst airport, and y'all make Southwest look horrible.
'That customer service is ridiculous.'
As the woman veers away from him and walks toward the gate, the Delta employee follows behind her, rolling his suitcase after her as he adds: 'It's ghetto.
'That's because it's Atlanta, y'all have no respect for customer service. Y'all need to clean it up, clean it up because I'm just trying to take a flight.
'I don't have to take Southwest, I can take Delta.'
The Southwest gate agent appears to ask the man to lower his tone, prompting him to ramp up his outrage.
'Get your hands out of my face,' he shouts. 'You are nothing. Where's your name tag at? You ghetto.'
The man went on to claim his colleagues has 'told me not to come here' and that he was instructed 'not to transfer here, because y'all are ridiculous and ghetto.'
'I don't do that kind of stuff,' he added. 'I don't have to take Southwest, I can take Delta.
'Atlanta gotta clean itself up, because this is supposed to be the black mecca, and y'all can't even carry yourself with class.'
The Southwest employee hit back, accusing him of calling one of her colleagues 'the B word.'
It is unclear what sparked the altercation.

Take the Hound. You’ll travel with a better class of people.
Absolutely not. It's one thing to not encourage others, it's another to assume responsibility for them. Their lack of personal responsibility is a major contributor to their behavior.
Spot on.
“So an argument between two people in public is international news”
A gay black guy argues with an Angry Black Woman. In Atlanta. I’m sure this has NEVER happened before. Had to be an epic DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA exhibition.
Gotta be a great job. Hard work but 20 hours a week max. That leaves plenty of time for other interests. One can live far from the airport. The Sydney, Australia to SFO(14 hours) flight had some old fat ones. Seniority gave them even more time off.
“They used to be called stewards and stewardesses, a term which connotes responsibility, trust and care. ”
Easy. It implies a difference in male and female versions. Same with actors and actresses. The gals don’t like it for some reason. I guess the feminists convinced them it was beneath their dignity to be thought of as anything different from a man.
When are you going to introduced us?
YOW!!! That's harsh!
My gaydar broke a couple of times!
That would have been a slap fight I’d like to see
There is good reason for why people avoid certain venues and areas.
My wife and I have traveled through the Atlanta airport in the past. We now avoid it.
“The B word”
Bigger.
Yeah, mine too! I recall one incident where an elderly passenger had a “gas leak” from a colostomy bag, related to cabin air pressure differential, and the air was instantly fouled. One intrepid male flight attendant sprung into action, prancing up and down the aisle spraying perfume (gag, worse) while pinching his nose shut. VERY dramatic!
That's probably why "server" is replacing "waiter" and "waitress" at restaurants. Like "steward" and "stewardess," "waiter" and "waitress" connote trust an responsibility, whereas a "server" seems more like a slave.
Atlanta Airport, it figgers.
Zesty!
“More black people need to tell other black people to stop being ghetto.”

Try it. I have been doing it since 2002 when the airports first started getting loopy.
