I think that's fair and I hope some of you agree.....

Looking beyond the MSM, there is an announced agreement Maduro and Putin that Russia will serve as mediator for the Venezuela/US talks.

Kaine and Rand are two Senators that nobody takes seriously when it comes to the defense of the USA.

They’re telling us that Congress loves Commies and murderous dictators and they don’t want President Trump to stop such bugs.

As usual, Rand Paul agrees with the left.

No declaration needed. Read the relevant laws.

It does not matter whether I agree or not. What matters is what the Constitution reads.

Do the math.

The real target is China.

No one has ever claimed the President has the power to declare war.

He has the power, however, to wage war as long as his stockpile of men and materiel lasts. And given an almost $1 trillion a year war budget, that's quite a long time.

The Congress has no power to substitute their authority for the President's over the military under the Constitution. If they don't like what he's doing, they can impeach or not fund the military, the latter being the ultimate check by English parliaments on royal war waging.

Are there tither ways to “topple” Maduro without war?

Seems like a silly war to me. Don’t we have some native Spanish speaking spies? Smuggle them in on subs a possibility?

Doesn’t sound very covert if it’s being reported in the news

I agree. Self defense from drug traffic does not warrant starting an aggresive war with another Nation. Especially a Nation that could become Nuclear capable in just a few days if their allies move a couple subs in. Russia and China both would do this in a heartbeat. The risk is far far greater than is being considered. We will not be going to war with Venezuela, we will be going to war with China and Russia and they will move Nukes in way too close for comfort. It is a mistake and we will absolutely be sorry we did it.

On October 8, 2025, the U.S. Senate voted down a War Powers Resolution aimed at blocking military strikes in the Caribbean without congressional authorization. The resolution failed with a 48-51 vote...

Does this mental midget believe that he has any chance after the first fail?

Rand is an f’ing traitor to America because he sides with the democrat communists. It is that simple. If they win, America is cooked. He knows this. I guess he believes it won’t effect his life of privilege. There will be no Constitution, no Bill of Rights, no America. Rand and his pocket Constitution will ride off into the sunset and as his limo goes by, Randfan will call out to him to come back and Rand will just laugh at his useful idiot.

The communists in congress will do what they can to save Maduro, but he has passed his sell-by date. The fleet is there as a psy-op. He will probably go out the old-fashioned way, a CIA-backed coup. Since it’s deniable, congress can’t stop it. At this stage Trump isn’t going to stop.

I imagine the suitcases of money have already been delivered, the Delta guys have been tracking Maduro’s men for months, and one of Maduro’ generals is getting ready to make his move.

Commies, Maduro and Chavez overstayed their welcome in Venezuela for at least 25 years.
Time for the reckoning!
