In all these stories of the craziest people doing the craziest things… How do they support themselves? What can they be doing competently enough to draw a paycheck or a salary or own a business? Or who supports or sustains them?
We don’t (often) institutionalize people. Meds can’t be cheap. Even cheap air travel ain’t. (Not for me!) It must cost a fortune to be that way.

My wife travels very often for work. She just got back from 3 days in Atlanta. The first thing she told me was that out of all the places she’s gone to she feels the least safe in Atlanta. She walked two blocks from her hotel to a restaurant and was accosted by crazy people on the way there and on the way back. She says the whole place just feels nasty.

I'm sick of this image that violence is all male on female. Women commit violent crimes against men too, and it's time violent women were treated as violent criminals in the same way as violent men are treated.
Men, I'm talking to YOU. You're the ones who want to score your points by automatically siding with the women regardless of who is at fault. You're the police officers and judges who find any excuse to side with the women. You're the ones who treat it as a joke when it happens to other men. Why is it anyone else's fault when you're the victims?
