Five people were shot within the span of eight hours in Cincinnati on Monday night. Police Chief Teresa Theetge responded by saying that people need to "learn how to behave" in the city. This comes after the chief has gotten backlash over the handling of a mob attack earlier in the summer that left a woman unconscious.
In response to two of the people being shot in Fountain Square, "My message to everybody, learn how to behave in our city, but especially learn how to behave in our downtown and our Fountain Square."
"These things sometimes start as a minor altercation and then evolve into something bigger. So do not come downtown, especially on Fountain Square, if you don't know how to behave," Theetge told reporters on the scene.
The two injured victims were from a shooting that took place at the CityBird restaurant in Fountain Square. Two windows were shot out during an altercation that took place around 7:30 pm. One 17-year-old boy was grazed on the leg and an adult man was shot in the thigh. Two people of interest were taken into custody, and both victims from the incident are expected to survive, per WLWT.

Thats Cincinnati’s Police Chief? OMG!
That’s a she?!
That’s a man, baby!
Cincinnati is the leading city of Kentucky.
Jokes about her aside, what of her saying don’t come downtown if you don’t know how to behave? Who is misbehaving, and how do we realistically keep such people away from public places?
Dei hire on full display....she’s about as qualified to be police chief as I am to be a brain surgeon.
She’s one ugly heifer, and I mean that in the most unflattering, derogatory manner possible.
Yogi knows who.
If someone misbehaves, they get no dessert for a week.
Well said.
Why is ever major city run by the Sea Hag and her pals?
‘Who is misbehaving‘
I think we all know the answer to that question.

Problem solved.
Asking them to behave is like asking them to code.
It's a large city. Who do you think is misbehaving?
You keep them away by:
1) Arresting them and prosecuting them when they misbehave.
2) Don't hold the sort of events that attract such people.
They should have kept James Craig when the had the chance.
Folks may remember that Craig went from Portland, Maine to Cincinatti and then Detroit where he laid down the law and cleaned up the city.
She spearheaded the department’s “30 by 30” pledge, which is to make sure 30% of the department are female officers by 2030.
Women make up more than 50% of the population in Cincinnati. The department now is 22% female, more than the national average of 15%, which Theetge is proud of.
The women can scold the ruffians .
Reminds me of the “no crime” sign.
