Great idea, Portlanders: Once the illegals catch sight of your pasty backsides, they'll demand to be deported!

From the National Review:
Hundreds of individuals stripped down at least partially before getting on their bikes. The group met at Portland's Convention Center, staged a die-in on Burnside Bridge, and ended the cycle ride at the city's Immigration and Customs Enforcement facility.
Some protesters wore see-through ponchos over their naked bodies to shield themselves from the rain. Others wore costumes and clown outfits and held Palestinian flags.
Here's a somewhat censored version of what that looked like:
[Warning: I made sure no jibbly bits are easily visible in this aerial video, but be warned that it does feature naked liberals from a distance.]

Yep.

So ... what did getting naked on a bridge in the rain accomplish?
Well, it showed the Nazis (everyone who has ever voted Republican) that Portland isn't afraid of them!
Yet another [protester], Nicole, told local media that she rode to bring awareness to antifascist activism.
'I feel like I can only imagine being in the shoes of the people who are really, truly affected by this, that it would make me feel a little better thinking of others standing in solidarity and helping bring attention to it,' Nicole said. 'I don't think there's a whole lot I can do about it, but this is one small thing that I think I can do to help support a more humane world.'

This naked bike ride has been held annually since 2004.
Sunday's ride was a necessary response to ICE's 'militarization' of Portland, activists said.
Oh, Portland. 😂
I’ve seen the pictures. Unfortunately, they cannot be unseen.
I guess I am colored by decades of nursing seeing way,way too many bodies...babies and young people are beautiful but most people over 30,not so much.
Just a touch of CS gas would go a long way.
Did it work?
OMG. I would barf.
Portlandia loves its bikes, dykes, trykes, and especially its yikes.
The homos ride with the seats removed.
Fools and their freedom are parting!
I will follow your advice. Always the performative crap with these people.
“What will we ever do to stop Trump and ICE?”
“I have an idea. Let’s ride our bicycles around Portland naked.”
“Of course, BRILLIANT! That will also end starvation and stop global warming. It might also save the whales... maybe? Damn, we liberals sure are smart!”
Most of them should have pedaled over to the “Die-In”, and FULY participated there..
Why is it that the ones that get naked are the ones you never want to see naked?
Well. I was gonna change my mind on politics based on what Rosie Odonnel said, but this really brings it home.
🤮
Can you imagine the bike seat cleanup?
I really do not understand “protesting” arresting people who are breaking the law.
Now, I actually do not believe there is an undifferentiated “right to protest”. We got to a bad place with the civil rights protests. They were carried out by people who did them in order to be arrested - to make a graphic display of injustice.
The first amendment contains two rights that supposedly cover “protesting”. One is peaceable assembly. Most “protests” don’t meet the “peaceable” threshold. The second is to petition the government - not an employer, not a business, not a school - the GOVERNMENT - for redress of grievances. Most protests also fail to meet this criterion.
But my opinion about this is irrelevant regarding people “protesting” ICE. Protesting enforcement of the laws - laws passed by bipartisan majorities in Congress after Congress and signed by Presidents of both parties - is protesting the right of the people for self-government — they are seditious, they are insurrectionary, and the failure for many years to suppress them has placed us in grave danger.
I sure hope they were wearing leather chaps and a Schott jacket...if not could end up with some serious road rash.
Probably smells like sardines.
