A great many Indians are Christians.
Have you ever heard of Thomas the Apostle? He went to south India, and the Christians he led the Marthomites are still there today. India has had Christianity since 54 AD.
As of 2025, the estimated Christian population in India is approximately 33.6 million, representing about 2.3% of the country’s total population of around 1.46 billion.
So definitely not “all Indians”.
India is a continent with myriad nations.
Some Indians are Christian.
Nearly all of the Indians I know are Catholic. My former parish had an Indian priest.

Those are exactly the people Christians should want around them.
Asian Indian is a nationality. It is not a race. It is not a religion.
Most Indians are Hindu. But as with “Christians” in the US, there are many different kinds of Hindus.
Many Indians are Christian, Muslim, Bhuddist, Jewish and other.
Kash Patel is a Hindu. Tulsi Gabbard is a Bhuddist. I want them around. (Especially Tulsi if she weren’t married.)
The very nature of the US is that we do not want the government to tell us “You will be religion X”. The very nature of Christians is to say “I, as an individual, accept Christ.” If we are not around non-Christians how are we going to show love for them and inform them of the plan of salvation? Christ died for their sins also.
