Oh damn…. One of my first kid crushes. My wife and were just talking about her yesterday. We admired the way she had NOT done the plastic surgery game to stay looking young. And she still looked so beautiful as she aged.
One helluva great actor. She could do it all; comedy, drama, whatever.
RIP Diane

I liked her in Looking for Mr. Goodbar.

Every time we watch G I the Wyf and I yell at the screen for her, Khartoum and Apollonia to getthehell out of there.
Why stop there?
Paulie, check into the hospital and take the Lakeshore Limited out when nobody's looking.
Sonny, take the scenic route to see your brother-in-law.
Vito, let Fredo pick out the oranges this time.
Sollozzo, suggest he freshen up in the bathroom at the same time!
Luca Brasi, wear a turtle neck with a steel sleeve implant, and keep your hands in your pockets at all times.

The early comedies were classic Borscht Belt humor for all ages.

oh I liked her in some films, just not Kay Corleone.
Never saw Annie Hall which is supposed to be one of her great roles.

One example:
Woody Allen explained that if the leftist magazines Dissent and Commentary merged then the new magazine would be called:
Dysentery.
Another example:
A farmer pulls up a clump of grass and declares “This is my land. My land.”
For thoughtful adults in the room that is a classic example of a mistake made by many people (including folks here) all the time—reification of an idea into something “real”.

Keaton’s 1987 movie ‘Baby Boom’ was very touching. May she rest peace.

Nah, Paulie was a rat, he deserved what he got.
Probably bled all over the cannoli, too, the schmuck.

RIP, very original personality.
She was wonderful in Something's Gotta Give (2003), a mature rom-com with Jack Nicholson. For that performance, she was nominated for Best Actress for the Academy Awards, the Critics' Choice and the Screen Actors' Guild; and she won the Golden Globe for Best Actress.
I enjoyed her quirky wardrobe through the years, and once saw a magazine spread about the interior of her house, also unusual but very beautiful, full of daylight, exposed blond wood, books and quirky art works.

I remember seeing ‘Looking for Mr Goodbar’ on cable in the 80’s.
Creepy movie.
Won’t ever be shown today due to subject matter.
