Psychology researcher Stephen Reysen and colleagues at Texas A&M University have proposed the concept of Global Citizenship, measuring whether an individual feels socially, politically, environmentally, and economically connected to all communities on a worldwide scale. Though endorsed by the United Nations, this concept is generally more popular with the left, while right-wingers more frequently believe Global Citizenship to be a front for progressivism or socialism.
What is your Global Citizen score? For each of the following statements, indicate your level of agreement below.
Question 1 of 30 I believe that all ways of living are equally right or good as long as they do not hurt others.
Question 2 of 30 We all have a responsibility to conserve food and other resources in order to not put too great a strain on the environment.
Question 3 of 30 All taxpayers in rich countries should pay at least some tax that goes to people in poor countries.
Question 5 of 30 There are no universal ethics; what is true and good for one group of people may be false and bad for another.

“Stephen Reysen and colleagues at Texas A&M University have proposed the concept of Global Citizenship, measuring whether an individual feels socially, politically, environmentally, and economically connected to all communities on a worldwide scale.”
I guess this could be construed as just a diagnostic quetion, but it sure seems to carry an inherent bias. Who self-appointed as God and decreed that all this global connectedness was somehow “good” or desirable? To whom? It’s just another tactic to promote transfer of value from those who create it to those who don’t without the mechanisms of economics and free exchange.
I have a nice community. I don’t really care what goes on in, say, India or some small country in Africa. I don’t wish any of those people ill, I just don’t care about what goes on there.
I don’t want to be a citizen of the world, unless I can be Rick Blaine. And that ship sailed a long time ago.
“ Your global citizen score is very low (13.33%).”
I was hoping for lower.
VPNs are always yer friend.
I imagined that I took the quiz, and scored SQRT(-1).
This is a test for people with more money than brains to feel superior to mere ‘citizens’ of nations..
Anyone who ‘passes’ this test should be embarrassed for the deapths of their shallowness. Want to meet these folks? Take a cruse on an expensive cruise line ship and talk to the middle aged women....
Unfortunately VPNs do not prevent device ID number detection from the target site.
I got my result “Your global citizen score is low (34.17%).”
But to be fair, they put the global citizenry so far left it was incredible if you don’t get a below 50% score.
I of course favor helping the local vs far away, that just makes sense. That doesn’t mean I don’t want to help the far away, but they come next in line.
Number 5 is ironic, considering the BS in 2 and 3.
I think a low, non-zero score is “acceptable.”
For example….consider “I wish to help those who are in need equally, no matter what country they are from.” And “ It is easy for me to put myself in someone else’s shoes regardless of what country they are from.” And “ I sympathize more with my countrymen than with people from other countries or cultures.”
If you had $100 to donate, would you give it to missionaries bring God to people, or a Hollywood-based charity assisting with people rebuilding from the fires?
Do you sympathize more with truckers in Canada than Pelosi or Schumer or Willard?
I’m not saying zero is bad (necessarily), but a low score doesn’t mean you vant peepole to eeet ze bugz.

Yes. Way too much room for interpretation there.
I scored 23%
How intolerant of them to characterize that as “low”
