The Charlie Kirk show has responded after conservative political commentator Candace Owens released a screenshot of messages shared by Kirk in a group chat, where he had been discussing Jewish donors pulling funding over his links to Tucker Carlson.
"It is authentic," Turning Point USA spokesman Andrew Kolvet said in a video released on October 7. "I actually am really excited that the truth is out there. I first want to say, the reason I didn’t share that screengrab publicly is that it was a private exchange."
Kolvet said Kirk's feelings about Israel were "complicated and nuanced" and he wanted the war in Gaza to end.
"The text chain is consistent with public frustrations that he voiced many times," Kolvet said.
A snippet of an appearance Kirk made during an episode of Megyn Kelly’s podcast was included in the YouTube video, where Kirk had discussed Israel.
In the podcast, he said, "I don't want to judge an entire group, because there's been many people in the pro-Israel group that have been very sweet, very kind, very nuanced … however, and I will say this, the behavior by a lot—both privately and publicly—are pushing people like you and me away.
"Not like we're going to be pro-Hamas, but we're like 'honestly, the way you are treating me is so repulsive,' I have text messages, Megyn, calling me an antisemite," Kirk said.

We would have a street protest—100 grandmothers with flags and lawn chairs and one guy with a Confederate battle flag, a guy we never saw at any meetings, would show up with an anti-Obama sign—who was on the front page of the newspaper? Yeah, that guy. After the reporters left—that fellow vanished.

So these text messages confirm that Charlie’s attitude toward Israel were evolving and the conspiracy about Israel being involved in his death are not so crazy after all. Charlie was against both the Ukraine and Iran wars and was pushing for release of the Epstein files and no doubt this angered many parties. There’s many holes in the official account about Tyler Robinson being the lone gunman. Gonna be interesting to see how this plays out.

That woman has no shame. But I'm confused why TPUSA would come out and say what they said about the exchange. What are they trying to do? It seems even they are trying to destroy Charlie's legacy, and that does nothing but give the left ammunition to use against them!

Look people want transparency. Candace and others (Tucker & Megyn Kelly) have been saying that Charlie’s attitude towards Israel had been changing prior to his death and some people started calling her a liar so she presented the receipts by releasing the text messages. TPUSA had no choice but to respond to this and they verified the text messages were real.
Owens is taking the low road to gain support for her extreme positions. A dead man can’t deny or argue with her. A dead man can’t speak of his own nuanced position or words taken out of context. I didn’t think my opinion of Owens could drop any lower. But it just did.
I suspect her career is about to nose dive.
