Federal court doesn’t do bail the way states typically do. The government makes a motion to detain, or they may choose not to. The judge either releases them with conditions or detains them. In rare cases someone may put up money or property in a larger case, but it’s rare.

No problem! I’ve been through many a federal detention hearing. What’s actually kind of odd is that the Bail Reform Act actually has a presumption against detention, and almost everyone gets detained. Go figure.
