We’ll see what happens from here, but the photos of the delivery driver that former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez allegedly attacked are not good. What the hell happened between these two? Sanchez was in Indianapolis for the Colts-Las Vegas Raiders game, for which he was part of the broadcast team. Those duties were transferred to Brady Quinn after Sanchez was stabbed and hospitalized.
For a second, everyone thought Sanchez was the victim. Apparently, he was not initially uncooperative with the police investigation from the start. He was later arrested at the hospital for public intoxication and battery. The former Jets quarterback told police he has no recollection of the incident. Sanchez allegedly attacked a food delivery truck driver in the city around 12:30 am on Saturday (via NY Post):

The Uber garbage man was lucky he wasn’t delivering to Jay Jones the scumbag. His kids could have been killed and his wife would have been forced to watch.
Looks like he’ll be quarterbacking the Mean Machine in prison.
Old man is lucky he had a knife. Also lucky Sanchez was drunk. Absent those 2 circumstances, Mark might have beat him to death. Old man is also lucky he was attacked by someone with a net worth of $40M. I don’t think he will have to drive for Uber anymore.

This guy has be coddled his entire life and had a great post playing career job and he just screwed it all up. Hope he pays a heavy heavy price (though it is Indianapolis so who knows how this will be negotiated down pre trial). I hope he does some jail time. He should have already been fired by NBC
I don’t feel so bad about being a 71 YO tax accountant for a real estate company. I’m trying to hang in there for a few more years before retirement. I’m no saint, but the money is going to support my 4 year old granddaughter and her family. She’s a fighter and has dealt with innumerable medical issues since being born 13 weeks premature. She’s having her tonsils removed today.
I was giving Sanchez the benefit of the doubt but this ain’t looking good.

Because this new information is diametrically opposed to the original story, and because it doesn’t refute that Sanchez was stabbed, I’m going to wait for more complete information before I make up my mind what occurred.
As a 92-year-old, I can 100% agree with that...

I do to but I don’t think getting beat to a pulp was justified.
If he’s widowed, maybe it’s something he does to get out of the house and meet new people.
