In September 2025. France's government collapses. Prime ministers ousted one after another. Protests engulf Paris. Debt spiraling past 110% of GDP. Energy prices up 40% since 2022.
The headlines blame political chaos, budget cuts and Macron's failures.
But that's not the real story.

France refuesed to give them more money and they then shut downThis shutdown turns to be a huge mistake... A very Big mistake. Because what France didn't understand is that this generation of Africans isn't asking for permission anymore. They're not begging. They're not waiting. Since 2010 this generation of Africians have had access to the Internet on their phones and they are educated to what is happening all around the world, and especially concerning French-Africian relations.
Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Chad, Senegal—one by one, they cut the cord.
They kicked out French troops. They stopped depositing reserves in Paris. Renegotiated contracts.
And when France tried to hold onto Niger's uranium? Niger nationalized the mines.
The economic model that kept France wealthy for nearly a century? Gone. The cheap uranium that powered 65% of French electricity? Cut off.
The financial flows that propped up French borrowing? Dried up.
Today the world is watching France discover what happens when extraction ends and reality hits. But this is not just about France and Africa.
It's about every system built on exploitation. Every relationship that only works when one side doesn't know they're being used. Every empire that forgets empires fall.
In this video, I'm breaking down the numbers they don't want you to see. The predictions experts made that the media ignored. And why Germany thrives without exploiting anyone while France crumbles without Africa.
If you want to understand the real forces reshaping global power—the ones the headlines miss—you're in the right place.
Africian countries cutting ties with France, after years of French overlordship of former colonies. The video goes from WWII to now in a quick review, but illustrates the economic system France built their own Economy. How France took 50% of all foreign reserves from Africian countries were required to be deposited in Paris, for over 80 years. This system of economic exploitation and essentially outright ownership of Africian resources that could only be exported by France alone.
France's economic empire spans the globe, uses the Overseas French Franc, from Africa to Asia. Everywhere the French economic model is collasping as Paris is focused on the destuction of Russia. When the French and NATO countries turned the world's economic system into another phase or front in their war against Russia, expecited Russian Collaspe in early 2023 based on NATO warplanning models. But Russia and Putin survived the initial 20 months of conflict to seize the initiative by October 2023 when the NATO Crimean campaign failed, and Russia quietly went over from an active defense to active pressure and long range decimation of defensive fortifications prepared by NATO since 2014, the lynchpin of military forward projection.
France and the EU countries have seen the Global South and emerging Brics economic alliance shake off the old colonial models in place throughout Africa, and coming under pressure in Asia. Ukriane has expanded operations to execute and murder or assasinate Russians throughout Africa and when Russia aided the rebels against the French, NATO nor the US could divert in early 2024 now precious resources to put down homegrown nationalism backed by Russian advisors and weapons.
The real story is understanding how a system imposed or built in 1945 is now falling by the wayside and a new alignment is emerging throughout the world.
Globalism was satisfied with their subjectigation of their own populations in the west and intent on using military force to take what they want by force and coups.
Using Ukraine who expanded killing across the globe wherever they could send their special operations and agents, they killed people who did not support Kiev or who were Russians/allies.
The EU and US weaponized trade. This was the final moment that forced Africian countries to overthrow the econmic slavery France imposed since 1945; Russia did very little but just nudged Africian nations with knowldege and econmic figures, allowing the rage of the affected Africian populations to demand leaders who would throw off French ownership of all exports and product.
Every escalation by the West has brought more damage to the 1945-47 realignment of the world with the creation of the UN and American global dominance.
The Genie is out of the Bottle. The French economic nation-state under Macron has been mismanagement, and with the presence of arrogance Macon exubes, he and his cronies who refuesed to give up power in elections by resorting to alliances within the political body lost sight of the maintenance of the Empire. France had starved their colonies but now the colonies are in return starving France... Belguim... Italy... all are suffering downturns in how their governments finance thier naitonal treasuries, and the loss of the power to dictate the price of goods and stealing the currency reserves have come to a crashing halt.
Trump is doubling down direct acquisition of trade partners Foreign Currency Reserves - as the Frence lose that power, America begins to impose this upon vassals.
That Niger could start a revolution that breaks the chains of Brenton Woods and 1945, and could bring French finances to near defaut in mere months is a lesson the power of Free Trade which never existed under French Domination. France could have given 5-6% more to these people but rather choose to squeeze them and shutdown production.
Brics is how nations gain soverign alignment with other nations without the very obvious exploitation by some western actors.
And Europe would like to have a war with Russia?
Doesn’t seem like a good time for it.
Yeah, sure, they are going to draft young Germans and send them to Kursk?
Sure.
Interesting. So how should the US react or benefit from these actions? I asked a Tahitian woman at the Papette airport bar what she thought of the French. She just walked away. The folks in New Caledonia have been acting up in the last year or so. Algeria fought them big-time. They’re liked as much as we like them.
As colonialists we’re not as bad as the others but we’re not exactly clean. I say give independence to Puerto Rico, American Samoa joins Samoa and(again) the monarchy gets restored in Hawaii with the native Hawaiians taking power. For good measure call for an independent Quebec. Prime the pump and then watch the world-wide independence movements come to a head. Ireland back to the Irish. If the democracies can light the fire watch how the tyrants of the world soil their pants. Jimmy Carter tried it with his human rights campaign and it cost us in the short term with Iran and other places but it was the right thing to do as it caught on. Time to go back to the well.
It’s gonna be awesome. Just think of Marco Rubio getting his POTUS training as president of Cuba. Havana becomes the capital of South America rather than Miami.
Interesting post. But in Africa they wouldn’t have to be equitable, just bigger bribes to the right people.
As far as colonies are concerned, our actions in the Phillipines were pretty bad back in the day.
Palladium, the French shoe company made boots for the Foreign Legion in the late 40’s and early 50’s. They currently make a reproduction of it… in Vietnam. I bought some to enjoy the irony.
The Africans are also waking up to China’s Belt and Road Global theft plan. Hopefully no too late.
**As colonialists we’re not as bad as the others but we’re not exactly clean.**

The Philippines? They were dominated by the US, the Spanish and the Japanese. Everyone there is ‘mixed’. Of the 3 nations that conquered them which was the lesser of 3 evils? The US at least made them independent.
Rubio has yet to make the transition from Senator in an ugly internal political system where name calling and lies are the normal verbal currency....
Rubio needs to read about how Diplomatic Relations are conducted. There is a language usage, and there are norms. It requires intelligence not only to understand, but to actively participate. One cannot go on a Sunday show and talk as if they are dealing with Chuck Shummer or Nazi Pelosi.
In diplomacy one never insults the other party to score cheap points and not at all or not ever. Acts leading to war are non-verbal demarc notes from one leader to another, not by the crass words of appointed diplomats.
Rubio lacks the mental acuity to serve as SecState in these times. Just becasue American the powerful has dictated to the world for a long time, we are no longer in that position, nor does our internal political discourse translate into international politics and diplomacy.
It is sad that the 1968 protest DNC leadership today has dumbed down everything with their violence rather than diplomacy - communists are the first to drop the niceness of relations and resort to insults - they break the laws and agreements and are not to be trusted. When a people begin operating internally in this manners, it is up to a professional diplomatic class not to allow leakage of the internal into world affairs.
Trump and Rubio have burned so much diplomatic currency in eight months that years of work sought to attain. The world is now forever changed by our failure to be patient.
Trump is a War(ring) President. He cannot be trusted day-to-day with what he sez’ nor is he diplomatic. Trump’s conduct of diplomacy indicates to all who observe American Weakness and Desperation, rather than patience and intellectual capacity to solve problems. That Trump is impatient and has no time for diplomatic relations he is doing things publically that should never happen in the light of day, and these things Trump is doing would never happen after diplomatic interations and the resultant choices from that diplomacy.
We have become less than what I would expect from THE PLANET OF THE APES with Rubio in Cubia;)
Yes, but after far too long.
The Belt and Road initiative is a response to the US Navy control of the high seas and trade routes.
They are doing something that when it began as a way to ensure their trade realations globablly, it has now become for the west not a choice of co-existance but a choice to contian on land any Chinese commerence and influence.
America is not going to allow, nor will NATO or the EU/ropeans allow any commerical competiton, nor give countries a choice in who they do busienss.
That Belt and Road has literally forced a pivot to Asia for America and we are on the slow boat to war with China - it seems we cannot cooperate or co-exist with other nations, but will stand only to dominate.
Twenty years ago I thought the US was correct in everything, but the corruption of Obama-Biden have served to destroy America’s good standing in world affairs, and our focus on Ukraine has brought light upon the dark side of US Power. Trump will use force globablly to ensure no slips from America’s economic orbit.
Trump has the chance to restore trust in America, by good deeds rather than the threat of force or sanctions, but he has choosen a path that leads to war and ruin for all involved - Trump is banking that the US can rebuild quicker than everyone else after the fallout.
The Irish are busy giving it away.
Nov 2024, Jan 2025 Feb 2025...
A little bird told them.
That would be typically the case, and I would know having been born and raised in Africa (Kenya) until I went to the States for college. Usually, you just need to identify the right palms to grease for the right amount, and things get smoothed over.
However, for France it is different. They are literally the worst when it comes to ‘colonialists.’ There is literally no comparison between former British colonies (eg, Kenya) with former French colonies (Benin, Chad, Togo, whatever). For example, google ‘Nairobi city’ and then google ‘Benin city’ for comparison.
The British, even at their extreme worst, at least invested in education and human capital, in infrastructure and some semblance of systems, and other aspects that could translate into real development. The French? Not at all. Even after former French colonies got independence, the French continued to exert SIGNIFICANT control, including controlling their central bank reserves (including requiring them to put a certain amount of their national revenues in France) among other things.
The level of public disgust in former French colonies against the French was tremendously high. Almost rabid, and once one of those countries kicked the French out the others rapidly followed suite.
So, while it’s true a strategic bribe can unlock things, for the French case there is simply too much raw anger and (especially) disgust for that to work. The French literally messed it for themselves over there.
Are you implying that the B&R has somehow been beneficial to Africa?
It is not diplomatic currency when it is bought and paid for with US currency. The American taxpayer has been on the hook for decades, funding the so-called diplomacy that you speak of. That species of diplomacy amounts to kissing all of Europe's ass's and selling out America to the Third World. I truly hope that every last vestige of your brand of diplomacy is burned to the ground. It was destroying the United States. We have allowed our "friends" to use us for decades thanks to your style of diplomacy. Who needs it. It was a one way street. So what if we hurt their feelings. They never did anything for us.
You act like Brics came about because of Rubio and Trump. On the contrary, it came about long before and continues in spite of Rubio and Trump, albeit somewhat diminished. Remember when Modi was Trump's BFF? They were practically skipping in the park together daily. That certainly did not slow down India's move towards Brics. What good did diplomacy do us there? Nada. At the end of the day, all Brics would do for developing countries would be to trade American hegemony for Chinese hegemony and I am certain that China would not be nearly as good to those countries as the US. It would have been a done deal in Rio if not for Trump's handling of it. It may not have been nice but it was effective. Sometimes you have to play hardball. As for the frog eaters ripping off Niger, I agree, France certainly should have spread the wealth more equitably and they deserve what they get. Really, they have made a mess of France and my not recover if they don't straighten up soon.
Thanks for the clarification.
“The Philippines?.... Of the 3 nations that conquered them which was the lesser of 3 evils? The US at least made them independent.”
There was a saying in the Philippines just after the war: “The Spanish built cathedrals, the Americans built schools, the Japanese built brothels.”
One fact to consider is that during WW 2 the Philippines was the only Western colony in Asia where the overwhelming majority of inhabitants supported the colonial power rather than the Japanese. Didn’t happen in the East Indies, Malaya, Burma, or Indochina.
B&R is simply a Chinese extortion plan. Anyone trusting the Chinese is setting themselves up, big time. If I had a magic wand, I would literally have Russia and Ukraine stop their bloodletting, and form a Western alliance (including Russia and Ukraine, all of NATO, and all freedom-seeking people) against China. China is THE threat, and while everyone has been preoccupied with other matters, they’ve become very powerful. Their inroads into much of Africa is not a good thing. The focus on South-South by China is unfortunately ignored by most. Someday, the true extent of what they’ve been doing will be made manifest, but by then it will be too late!
