Two billion people regularly feast on bugs around the world. Is it time for the rest of us to adapt our diets?

And it's called the "third world" for a reason...

--- "Why We're Getting Closer To Hybrid Burgers Made From Meat, Insects, And Plants"

"My Study" of myself finds that the first-person plural pronoun so often does not match with empirical data.

"We" ain't "me." Moreover, within our family and extended circle "we" ain't most of "us," except for one truly deluded Biden voter. Poor her.

Well, the first fast-food burger chain that goes to one of these burgers will be an excellent example of how not to succeed in business. Who'll be the first to step up to the plate: McDonalds, Burger King, Jack in the Box, Wendy's? Who'll be the first to go Woke and then go Broke?

I can remember when I was a kid and the rumor was that McDonalds was making their hamburgers out of ground earthworm paste ...

Definitely not for me.

However, a story: One of my kids spent some time in Ecuador. The family with whom she was staying served oatmeal (I think) one morning. My daughter noticed that there were bugs in her oatmeal. The family was celebratory, because bugs were considered a delicacy. My daughter saw a chart of the various food groups while she was staying in Ecuador. (You know, meat, milk, vegetables, etc.) One of the food groups was insects.

The fundamental lie behind this is revealed by the following sentence:

NOBODY adulterates steak to make it taste more like bugs and kale.
