Dana White reiterated on Logan Paul's podcast that the UFC event at the White House is "happening."
The event will be part of commemorating the United States’ 250th birthday, and White said it was actually President Donald Trump’s idea.
"I didn't ask — he brought it up to me," White said on "Impaulsive."
"When you walk around the White House with him, he's so proud of the White House, and he loves it so much and he loves America. He believes that the White House belongs to the people of America," White continued. "He wants to do more things like kids coming in doing Easter egg hunts, things around Christmas and special events. … That's his thing. He wants to bring more Americans to the White House. His thing was, ‘This is your house.’ I was lucky he said, ‘We should do a fight here.’"
Many specific details of the event remain to be determined, but one major logistical hurdle has already been cleared, White said.
"The fighters are gonna walk out of the Oval Office," White revealed, confirming a rumor.
The event is going to be a tough ticket with less than 5,000 people will be attendance. However, it "isn't about the gate," White said.

I am alone in not liking this aggressively stupid “thumb-in-your-eye cultural move....? Don’t expect me to like it....what is the sense, what is the motive, as if I didn’t know? It just speaks of a lack of dignity being brought to the WH by a President who should know better. I am frankly beginning to lose enthusiasm for Trump for so many reasons.
As the other respondents have picked up on I definitely intended it to be understood more as “manly” and I dont know that I want to jump in with an answer now as the others seem to have understood the assignment and I want to see everyone elses response also.
While some could be argued to have likely had the correct plumbing, I dont think anyone could reasonably argue for their inclusion.
Biden was that pedo that you watch for while youre working on the lawn or the house just in case hes headed toward the park and you have to drop everything to go punch him in the face. He doesnt count.
No one had questions regarding the inhabitant of the office before Trumps first administration. The only question that no one really wanted to know the answer to was “How many cowboys have already been in Bronco Bamas saddle?” Sugar britches types obviously dont count either.
Chimpy the Pretzel Boy and The Rapist were both those frat boy types that never grew to be real men. Both were the type that were aware of that alpha male BS and tried to put on a show by wearing the correct jersey and drinking whatever the rest of the girls told them to. Those types you can see through and know they are being propped up somehow and watch because you know that they will shrink back in the face of adversity and shirk responsibility to get stoned instead. From that point forward it is your sacred responsibility to drop that waste of a Y chromosome face first on the pavement every chance you have for the rest of their lives. Not real men.

Boomer enthusiasm is of no relevance. The mantle of power for these decisions has moved on to later generations and Trump has to try to set things up for his successor that will appeal to Gen Z.

I get it, as other commenters said ... appealing to the younger male set, not the older ones who need to move over for the next generation.
But I find it tacky. Do something else that appeals to them, something with more class befitting the White House.
