Republicans are turning the heat back up on the Trump administration for its handling of the Epstein files.
Kentucky Representative Thomas Massie torched FBI Director Kash Patel over the weekend after he caught the bureau chief off guard on information that Patel should have already been privy to.
“I told Director Kash Patel that the FBI has names of 20 men to whom Jeffrey Epstein trafficked women and girls,” Massie wrote on X. “This basic fact seemed to surprise him. Why?
“Is the FBI withholding those names to protect the President’s rich and powerful friends?” Massie continued, before demanding that the administration “release the Epstein files.”
Massie has been fighting for the release of more documents related to the investigation into Jeffrey Epstein, the deceased pedophilic sex trafficker with connections to the rich and powerful, including President Donald Trump.
“I believe that Trump is trying to protect rich and powerful people who are his friends, and that is why this material is not getting released,” Massie told CNN last week.

I think Americans deserve to know what happened with Epstein and the children. Release the files. If our representatives are innocent we deserve to know. If they are guilty, we deserve to know.

Well what is preventing you Thomas from releasing the names you say you have? It is so important to you yet you just spout about a list of names you know but do not release yourself.
Anymore examples? That seems a bit thin. I understood Utah because his agents did not brief him at all, so he was just learning about when we did. I understand he read them the riot act once he got there. So I understand your concerns, but I think he has a long culture to overcome and many agents want him to fail. Housecleaning is in order.

Don’t worry about them. And maybe it’s a little bit of human nature, but people sort of defer, also, according to his rank in the bank. So basically, the concerns don’t really get elevated or go anywhere.”

News flash for Massie. If there was anything damaging or embarrassing to Trump in the Epstein files it would have Bern released to CNN during the 2024 campaign.
I dont understand why you people keep hanging your hat on this as if that is the answer as to why Massie shouldnt seek release of Epstein files.
Using that same argument you could say if there was anything damaging about Dems then trump would have released it.

Look at the one guy Massie did name. He should be in the hot seat over Epstein financial transactions and FINCEN. So should Leon Black- father of nominated Ben Black.

I don’t care what motive Massie, or Schumer or Wyden have in what they are doing. Maybe it is to make Trump look bad for saying there is nothing there. I just don’t care the motive. Get the files released..especially the Treasury documents to see how far the rot goes.

I saw a claim that Epstein stole treasury checks so went to see if true. The fact that the claim was made is true but it was retracted stating it was a different Jeffrey Epstein.
There is a lot of info with the Palm Beach County State’s Attorney office.
