When police showed up at Westdale Middle School with a drug-sniffing dog for a surprise drug search, it wasn't a student who got busted.
It was the math teacher with a wallet full of cocaine.
According to WAFB news Virginia Somers swore the cocaine wasn't hers.
Officials said that Somers told them that the cocaine belonged to a friend who gave it to her at the LSU football tailgate Saturday.
But when officers searched her car, they also found a bunch of marijuana and pipes, so …
Anyway, Somers faces charges of possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Somers has taught math intervention classes at the school for nearly a decade, which seems oddly appropriate considering the intervention Mrs. Somers clearly needed.
The school district sounds more than happy to oblige her that intervention, according to the statement they released:
This behavior is not condoned by our district and we remain committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and drug-free environment for all students and staff.
The district said the matter is being handled in accordance with its policy and procedures.
Like on the Cops episodes.
Please empty your pockets.
Those aren’t not my drugs.
They were in your pockets.
These aren’t my pants.
From police inventory.
If these female teachers aren’t banging one or more of their students, they are selling them drugs.
She may not be the most attractive woman, but her drug screen results are certainly hot.
