Seems like there’s a shortage of the acronym years blessings for 5786.

Understandable, as so few words begin with a vav, and it’s kind of cheating to have the second word begin with “and” — it wouldn’t form a proper acronym.

Anyway, when there’s a will there’s a way, so here’s for you:

תהא שנת פריחת ורדים

“May it be a year of rose blossoms.”

To take it a step further, the phrase = 2114, the same as

Ecc 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

.לַכֹּל, זְמָן; וְעֵת לְכָל-חֵפֶץ, תַּחַת הַשָּׁמָיִם

By any other name would smell as sweet;

Great! Smell is the most spiritual of the senses:
