Democracy Dies in Darkness with Democrats

The chair of a new panel of federal immunization advisers selected by Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said Friday that the group’s “enormous depth and knowledge about vaccines, about science” should be obvious to anyone listening to them work.

But medical associations and scientific experts who watched the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices meetings Thursday and Friday panned the panel’s performance as the group reversed recommendations for coronavirus and a combined measles, mumps, rubella and chicken pox vaccine.

They said the members were unprepared, misunderstood or ignored key data and highlighted flawed or inconclusive research often trumpeted by vaccine critics.

“It’s troubling to see the erosion of the committee’s integrity,” Sandra Fryhofer, a physician who spent almost 20 years working with the panel as a liaison from the American Medical Association, told the advisers Friday. “We’re concerned about how vaccine recommendations are being developed by this new panel. Data is being selectively used to justify specific conclusions rather than considering all of the available evidence.”

The panel’s recommendations to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guide medical providers and compel insurers to cover the cost of vaccines.

The tensions at ACIP meetings this week highlight the broader struggle over science and public health policy under Kennedy, who along with allies has championed “gold standard” research while seeking to upend the nation’s vaccine policy.

In June, Kennedy purged the panel’s 17 independent vaccine experts, claiming they were “plagued with persistent conflicts of interest” and had become a “rubber stamp” for vaccines. Kennedy replaced them with his own picks, most of whom have been critical of coronavirus vaccination policy, and announced five additional members days before the meeting. The new group includes people who called for a halt to...

They documented the equivalent of Medical FAKE NEWS for years. Now when Kennedy Jr. or his picks start chipping away at the Fauci-d Fake STudies, they are screaming that years of accepted research is being ignored. You know, like the Medical REgime ignored year of research on Ivermectin and HCQ during the Plandemic.

AMA=run by pompous medical educators who aren’t engaged in clinical medicine positions.
In other words, they don’t know their arse from a hole in the ground and stayed home during covid so they wouldn’t have to be in the trenches with other doctors and nurses who got sick or died.

Just be skeptical of everything from Big Med.

That includes your primary care doctor.

Doctors should leave the AMA in droves and demand medical institutions and medical providers quit taking the AMA as a medical authority.

We need a new national medical organization that believes in true science, which includes respect for the skeptic, and which has in its organizational DNA a commitment to fight against orthodoxy killing the skeptic off professionally.

Update...

Large VA COVID vaccine safety study done by Harvard researchers in 2022 shows statistically significant 36% higher risk of heart attack in people who took Pfizer They didn't mention this anywhere in the paper itself. It was buried at the end of the 58 page supplement. I just found out about it when I read the paper.
