Hillary Clinton slammed President Donald Trump’s administration on Thursday for trying to “intimidate” late-night host Jimmy Kimmel.
ABC announced on Wednesday that Kimmel’s show would be suspended indefinitely after the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Chair Brendan Carr threatened to take action against the network. Carr’s threat came after Kimmel’s comments on the killing of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk prompted outrage from Trump’s MAGA base.
CNN’s Fareed Zakaria asked Clinton whether the suspension of Kimmel was an example of “state censorship.”
“I think this is a very clear example of using the power of the state to suppress speech. It is a direct government action to try to intimidate employers, organizations, corporations, much of which we’ve already seen, to remove an opponent, even though it’s a comic,” Clinton said.
She said that she had “no idea” that she could have asked the FCC to take someone off the air if someone made jokes about her she did not like when she was in public life. She went on to urge the administration to defend free speech even when it is critical of Trump.
“But you know, you defend free speech in terrible times, and you defend free speech that is used against holding people in power accountable through satire, humor, barbed attacks,” she said. “You defend it even when it is offensive.”
“And they have, unfortunately taken the view that we believe in free speech, as long as we’re making the speech and your speech agrees with us, otherwise, we’re against free speech,” she added.

Didnt Hilary Clinton recently go on MSNBC and say that some people need to be canceled and that you dont have a constitutional right to say whatever you want..so boy this is rich coming from that ass clown..she needs to go back to the bottle, or watch her husband to make sure he doesnt bang anymore underage girls

We’ve seen a quickly coalescing liberal view, that we are supposed to be outraged about Jimmy Kimmel .
We are being told that Trump is behind the suspension of Jimmy Kimmel .
The facts seem at variance with this narrative.
But let’s remember, that in any conflict between the facts of a situation and the liberal narrative, we are told to believe the liberal narrative.
Inconvenient truths are to be dismissed as disinformation.
I wish I was being sarcastic, but that’s now things seem to be in today’s world. Any facts that conflict with what liberals are telling us, is said to be disinformation. Rather than discuss the merits of the alleged disinformation, the liberal simply dismisses that disinformation as not worthy of discussion.
So in this particular case, we are not supposed to talk about how ABC decided to suspend Jimmy Kimmel. We are told to blame it on Trump. We are not supposed to talk about how ABC affiliates and affiliate groupings, such as SINCLAIR, expressed their concerns about Jimmy’s vile comments.
Instead, we are told we are supposed to believe that Trump did all of this, and that Trump is a dictator et cetera.
To believe this, then, we would have to believe that Trump makes programming decisions for a major television network.
Apparently, we’re not supposed to think too deeply about any of this. We are just supposed to have knee jerk reactions.
Agreed. Maybe someday, one can hope.

So, financing an invented Russian dossier to rid herself of Trump was A-ok?
Halloween is coming, so we can expect to hear more from Hitlery as the big day approaches. She might even be spotted riding her broom across the sky.
If 10% of the complainers actually watched that crap fest, the little puppet would still be on.
Speaking of removing political opponents. She’s removed more than her fair share. Allegedly.
When a large chunk of your affiliate base is dropping the show, that is the reason. They can program other shows at that time and make more money than with Kimmel.

Missed her crying for doctors, nurses, pilots and tens of thousands losing their jobs for not taking a shot.
