I was just reading the Oct QST.
Hams are all over this like hair on a gorilla. They have been following the solar cycles since way before I was a kid. In fact, one ham in this Oct issue believes Cycle 25 has peaked and is now decreasing, but, then again, it is not bi-peaked as they usually are, so, it may be more intense than usual.
