I’m not sure about that. Maybe congress should hold the media more accountable. If they print false stories and then fail to correct in a timely manner they should be liable for their misconduct. Lower the bar on their malice.

OK, then since the government just utilizes third party private media to do their bidding then to reinstate this would make no difference would it? They don’t directly pay them or dictate where it can be proven now...

I think you are right. If the government’s agents (e.g. George Stephanopoulos) get lead roles, and government advertising affects the general tone of reporting, there is no way to really stop it. In like manner, Pfizer and MOderna take out SO MUCH advertising time on television that it would be fiscal insanity to scrutinize their work objectively.

Here is something else to consider. Right now the whole drive behind the current online “censorship” movement is “social Media”. So do we actually believe that the government will reinstate a propaganda law without also including private “Social Media” entities since that is the big beef?
