On Thursday night, the FBI office in Salt Lake City released more photos of the “person of interest” they seek in connection with the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

People like me hunt in the fall prior to the opening day. It’s a normal trait hunters get into. We pack cameras, range finders, gps unit, and in some cases trail tape. The guys who got into the Watergate Hotel caught the night crew propping a door open and taped the door bolt open with some clear tape. The cleaning crew left and they walked in. The shooter might have caught a door to the roof opened while casing a shooting location. We may never know but there’s ways to effect an entry, if your hell bent to do something.

Many conspiracy theorists are still talking about how well planned this assassination was, but, in reality the killer made a bunch of mistakes.
Prime are allowing so many pics of his face (no mask) and leaving his DNA on the gun. Then he injured his ankle jumping down from the building - he could have broken it and really been hobbled.
The shot evidently ricocheted off Kirk’s “bulletproof” vest, well above center-mass, and went into his neck, so, not that great a shot & the murderer got “lucky”.
Signals (like those a baseball coach makes, but specific to the military) appear to be made by two young men behind Charles Kirk. After their respective signals, each looked at the other. One in a white baseball cap, the other in a black t-shirt.
As an aside, for anyone who wonders about tim till possible arrest:
Different crime obviously, but Bryan Kohberger killed the four Idaho students 13 Nov 2022. He was then arrested about 30 Dec 2022. They had his DNA on the knife sheath. To me, that seemed fast. If they have good DNA sample(s) of the DNA from Charlie Kirk’s killer, then it might take a few weeks (or more or less time).
That’s a very good observation, although “low” surveillance cameras are easier to obstruct or damage or. Say, with a small spray paint can. Tiny hidden “low” cameras (easily camouflaged) might be the answer, and I’m taking some such steps around my place already...

Link to vid? The ones I had looked at the day of the shooting have been taken down, ostensibly due to the gory content.
Even with the cap and sunglasses, the facial recognition software can match him up with a relatively small pool of suspects if the guy is a local.
Even if his face was completely obscured, his gait is identifiable.
He is seen touching things here and there. Even though it is a public space, those areas can be dusted for prints.
If a student, his core gender studies studies classmates will keep quiet but he had to take other classes. Somebody perhaps from a foreign language class will recognize him and report it.
They probably know a dozen things about him...
That's a hunter's gun and a hunter's shot......but you have to practice someplace.

Wasn’t that the most pathetic ‘news’ conference yesterday on the search for the Kirk killer? The killer obviously has a team of accomplices and has long made his get away. Take a listen to my post of George Webb’s podcast of yesterday for details. Here’s just one glaring discrepancy that came out of yesterday’s news conference. LE says they found the killer’s rifle in the woods. How did it get there? Clearly the ‘shooter’ didn’t have it with him when he came down off the roof.
As I watch this clown operate in these videos, all I can see is a wimpy loser trying to do something to make his friends like him. A real full barf bag.
You know... they ought to look into whoever invited CK to that campus. The killers may have brought him there themselves.
Seeking “the public’s help.” is not encouraging. It sounds like they don’t have a good handle on this. This hit was planned out throughly

The FBI really needs to hire George Webb and his crew to untangle things. His podcast of yesterday (link posted in my yesterday’s post) appeared spot on describing the hand signals, Monkey Works aircraft tracking, BlackRock, George Romney, and the rogue ATF/Fast and Furious outlaw advance shooter team who are now smug and hiding out in St George.
My question after seeing all these photos is where is the rifle he supposedly used, carried out and conveniently left in a field to be found?
About a million years ago, they determined that cameras placed closer to the ground get smashed to tiny little bits by pedestrians.
He wore a cap and dark glasses because he knew there would be cameras, not where they were located.
That gives a location anywhere in a 120 degree coverage.
Preposterous. A rifle bullet goes through a vest. For a ricochet, angle of incidence is nearly the same as angle of reflection. (For light they are the same)
