The gravity of the loss of Charlie didn't hit me until I said a prayer for him and his family as I lay in bed. I had trouble going to sleep..

I thought, "Nobody can replace Charlie" to lead the crusade to recruit the youth into the conservative movement. My wife suggested Donald Trump Jr. Although he doesn't have the Biblical acumen, he is energetic and compelling. I agree with her choice.

I struggled sleeping last night...i kept waking up thinking about Charlie and his family- at least a half dozen times...i kept praying for him as well realizing the little annoyances in my life are just that...

I was up all night. I would doze off then wake up upset over it...more than once thinking about his wife not having her husband and his kids wondering why Daddy hasn’t come home and not understanding why he never will again and his wife having to tell them this...probably for years for the older child.
