Fairfax County has become a cesspool, and a traditionally liberal county over the years, which is why I left & never looked back. Too many government workers, and the majority always vote Democrat because it enlarges government. In fact, most of the suburban communities that surround D.C. are the same.

Meanwhile the democrats are falling all over themselves thinking this is a harbinger of a democrat wipeout in ‘26 so they can impeach Trump...again. The real danger is complacency by republicans.
That will be the problem in 2026. A lot of people who voted for Trump won’t make the effort to vote for the Reps and Senators he needs to accomplish his goals. If that is the case the dems will take back both houses and Trumps last two years will be nothing but investigations and impeachment hearings.
The problem is our candidates don’t reflect the electorate.
Mainly because people like us don’t want to run for office and get our shirts dirty. So we are stuck with opportunists, with no core beliefs, other than wanting to get rich in DC.

That’s because, to us, government is a necessary evil, but not the center of our lives. To Demoncraps however, government is their religion, and also the big teat they suck off of.

It cracks me up that people, especially around here, equate Donald Trump and his program with the GOP and Republicans.
Donald Trump is a beloved national hero. Republicans are just not very popular.
