I was having a pedicure and the woman next to me,, who arrived at the same time I did, got up and left several minutes before my nails were dry..
The difference? Gel polish. I won’t use it because I think it has too many chemicals, could be wrong.

The way they do these studies is to feed mice ungodly amounts of the substance in question, orders of magnitude higher than any real world exposure, then cry ‘toxic!’ when the mice develop health problems and abnormalities. Also, after the substance ‘cures’ from its monomers, it is basically plastic and largely inert.

Ok they ban it because it may make women not have children. First, the women in Europe most likely to have children, namely Moslem women, are not going to get gel nails unless they want their husbands to beat them. Secondly what about women who are past childbearing age, like my wife, but like to get their nails done up every couple of weeks, like my wife? They should be able to get an exemption. But it’s all about how smart Europeons are for not having red Froot Loops or gel nails.
This sounds like the ISO paint hardener additives that are used in car painting that guys who spray paint face if they don’t wear coveralls, eye protection, and respirators. These hardeners are highly toxic (can be absorbed through the skin, eyes, and lungs), Many in the car painting industry have found out the hard way and been permanently injured by not wearing proper protection.
