The Justice Department is reportedly considering banning transgender people from owning firearms in the wake of the school shooting at Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis.
A DOJ source told the Daily Wire that “individuals within the DOJ are reviewing ways to ensure that mentally ill individuals suffering from gender dysphoria are unable to obtain firearms while they are unstable and unwell.
A Justice Department spokesman told the Daily Wire that a “range of options” is being considered “to prevent mentally unstable individuals from committing acts of violence, especially at schools.”
Another officials said, “Democrats have called for common sense gun laws for a long time” and that “this seems pretty common sense to me.”

I don’t necessarily think it was hormones with this current trans shooter, he doesn’t look like he even took them or not for very long.
That said, should women on HRT be denied guns?
The problem is mental illness, not hormones. Let’s stop pretending that it’s some externality causing homicidal rage. It isn’t.
Crazy people are just more violent than non crazy people and often have obscure or completely irrational, non reality based thought processes and belief systems.
So bring back the state hospital system, start adjudicating them into non voluntary treatment/commitment and take away their guns while we’re at it.
You’ll get a lot fewer nuts if we stop affirming and subsidizing their nuttiness.
Have a post-menopause wife?
Many are on hormone therapy to help them through menopause.
How are you going to prove it? Are you now advocating for mandatory drug testing for everyone wishing to purchase a firearm?

Safe to say it is a mental disease already diagnosed as such called gender dysphoria.
When I was in the military these freaks along with the entire LGBTWRSTUVWXYZ freak show was considered a security threat and you were required to report them. Never saw a tranny till I got and worked for DOD for 28 years. I nearly puked when I saw the first one and said out loud what the f is that?

Most of “us” can explain our thought processes and belief systems in rational, logical and reality based language. Some actually use confirmed facts!
The internet is a serious problem for the delusional because an affirming community is right there on their phone, willing and ready to reinforce all the crazy.
Trans need guns to defend themselves the same as everyone else.
For sure every trans person I have met has mental illness. But so do many other people who own guns. I do not think we want the government giving psych tests to own guns. When democrats return to office they will use the same test to take away your guns.
Think long term.
