“This is a complete fallacy, weather versus climate. It is one and the same,” said Lars Peter Riishojgaard, director of the Earth System Science Interdisciplinary Center at the University of Maryland.

Not true.

We have been told over and over again by our DEI scientific betters that hot weather is climate and cold weather is just weather. 🤡

It doesnt take a genius to figure out the weather, you go outside, its hot, you go outside, its raining, see that simple :-)

What a laugher. I am sure that these contracts are bloated AF. Plenty of services are available.

I installed 4 weather apps. None of them are accurate. They say no rain while it’s raining, rain when it’s not. They can’t even agree on the temperature. Sometimes up to a 10 degree difference.

I rely mostly on my weather rock.

They are accurate 5% of the time now. How much will it go down?

They still can’t accurately predict three or four days from now, let alone a week or two.

I am unable to find a search result for the inaccurate call from the Weather Channel that cause expensive evacuation and shutdowns of stores and restaurants for a big storm that never arrived. People were chanting “Where’s the storm? Where’s the storm” and the headquarters made a call about the reporters and crew “Get them out of there. Now.”

Robert Heinlein onde wrote about the difference.

“People move somewhere for the climate, but when they get there they get weather.” [paraphrased]

We will go bankrupt from superfluous spending but at least we’ll have idiots giving us dubious weather information. What a deal!!!!

NOAA got into the business of generating data that the climate alarmists use to beat us over the head with.

But scientists said there is no such division between weather and climate.

I've been told for years that climate isn't the weather. Which is it? $cience.

I sure hope they don’t get rid of Kleinsassar, that dude has actually been right about the weather forecast here once or twice.

The idea that they can actually measure the co2 in the atmosphere is amusing......and know that it is the SOLE factor effecting climate is absurd....and that man is responsible for that number....is ridiculous.

That's not science....it's projection.

Utter nonsense, which is exactly what any normally intelligent and knowledgeable person would clearly understand.

NOAA has also been caught adjusting the data to fit the narrative.

If I were to use the vocabulary and phraseology of these “scientists” in my job, I would be unemployed.

Maybe

Perhaps

Chance of

Partly

I would have no “chance of” a paycheck.

PS - I have lived in places where the “weather report” simply interchanged “partly sunny” and “partly cloudy” for WEEKS. When the clouds did not burn off, they “amended” the nighttime report to something close to: “today’s clouds were thicker than expected.”

I remember that years ago the NOAA weather broadcast stations would include an agricultural outlook with their regular broadcast, something like current and expected moisture conditions, etc. The NOAA broadcasters made it known that they thought ending that practice was unfortunate. Yet I haven’t seen any issues associated with ending that practice, at least around here. Plenty of other ways nowadays to get that info. I suspect the same is true with this satellite business.

How can we survive with only 15,000 weather satellites?

They told me we had a 60% of rain today around 2 pm. Hot and sunny.
