Crime Festers in Republican States While Their Troops Patrol Washington

When Tennessee’s Republican governor, Bill Lee, dispatched his National Guard troops to Washington to support President Trump’s crackdown on crime, Democrats and other critics wondered why he didn’t keep them within state lines.

Memphis, after all, has long been one of the most dangerous cities in the country, with a murder rate about twice as high as the nation’s capital, according to F.B.I. statistics. Nashville has a higher rate of violent crime than Washington as well.

The same questions could be asked of other Republican governors like Greg Abbott in Texas, Mike DeWine in Ohio and Mike Kehoe in Missouri, since cities under their purview all have higher rates of violent crime than the nation’s capital. Yet no Republican governor has asked for federal intervention.

I had the same thought. I asked Grok for the cities with the highest murder rate. Then asked for the party affiliation of the mayor. They all had Democrat mayors:

1. St. Louis, MO - Mayor: Cara Spencer (Democrat)

3. Baltimore, MD - Mayor: Brandon Scott (Democrat)
4. Detroit, MI - Mayor: Mike Duggan (Democrat)

6. New Orleans, LA - Mayor: LaToya Cantrell (Democrat)
7. Cleveland, OH - Mayor: Justin Bibb (Democrat)

While murder rate is telling, the number of murders may be more important. If you focus on total murders, you get a different ranking. For example, Chicago goes from a rank of 10 to a rank of 1.

It seems that Atlanta did not make the lists due to poor data. However, a deeper dive into the data shows they belong on both (murder rate and total murders) lists. Perhaps the same is true for Orlando.

Also, the president doesn’t have the same authority in those cities as he does in D.C.

Reminds me of when Speaker of the House Pelousy wanted to put DC police stations all over America. That was back when they believed they would never lose power and no one could stop them.

I think it’s closer to 60%. It’s mostly men so you can cut that to 6% and most of the 6% committing those murders are young black men. So I would say actually 60% of all murders are committed by 3% of the population.

The black population has become so feral--so garbage-y, for lack of a better term--in many parts of the country, that we may HAVE TO enact race based policies if we are to save the country from their lack of contributions, their crime, their destruction, their overall lowering of the quality of life in this country. Or at least MASS arrests, incarcerations, and permanent removal of offenders from society to put the fear of GOD to these people, and those on the fence about the issue. They need to be humbled.
