Europe is drawing up “pretty precise plans” for a multinational troop deployment to Ukraine as part of post-conflict security guarantees that will have the backing of US capabilities, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen told the Financial Times in an interview published on Aug 31.
“President Trump reassured us that there will be (an) American presence as part of the backstop,” Dr von der Leyen told the FT, adding that “That was very clear and repeatedly affirmed.”

European leaders, including German Chancellor Friedrich Merz, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Nato Secretary-General Mark Rutte and von der Leyen are expected to gather in Paris on Sept 4, at the invitation of French President Emmanuel Macron, to continue the high-level discussions on Ukraine, the FT reported, citing three diplomats briefed on the plans.

I meant in real life, why do the Putin backers think Putin would break a ceasefire and attack peacekeeper forces?
Exactly what troops are they going to be sending they don’t really have any and they certainly don’t have enough to guarantee borders or anything else. I’ve heard some of the guys I respect on YouTube discussing this ex military people and they said you’re going to need at least 2 to 300,000 troops For a job like that and NATO doesn’t have those kind of resources and neither does the United States
Well, that means that our bases in Europe and Eastern Europe are fair game then for the Russians to strike.
The lesson learned from World War II when the Air Force reviewed daylight and nighttime bombing they found that it made absolutely no difference whatsoever in winning the war very little. The only thing that won the war was a ground invasion. Yes, air flower did soften up the territory, but it did not and could not on its own winter war and that has been true ever since right now..
If you wanna go toe to toe with the Russians in Ukraine and you better find 500,000 troops that you can lose to throw in the fight. And that is a minimum you might need 1 million.

On the battle field in UKRAINE Russia’s positions will most definitely be bombarded.
WWII airpower very, very different animal from the airpower of today. Ukrainian troops are on the ground and while they have been slowly losing, have largely held their own. American airpower will only act to push the war in Ukraine’s favor.
But they are now. It's a war, and both sides positions are being bombarded.

Ukraine troops have not held their own, over 1.7 million killed, AirPower alone cannot win a war even today.
This war is just about over, and if American AirPower was introduced, which would mean we are all in, what do you think the Russians will do, they will just start targeting our bases in Europe and will be Justified in doing so.
It would take a new ground force of at least 500,000 troops to go against the Russians and neither NATO or the U.S. has those kind of resources any longer and haven’t had for decades.
