Did they forget something up there last time they were there?
Why bother? We’ve been to the moon and you know what’s on it? Nothing!
It’s a big rock with a lot of dust on it.
Space travel should be restricted to robotic missions. Billions... Yes... Billions are being wasted designing ships and equipment that humans either use or occupy. There is no need for such waste. Robots can pretty much do it all and they need no food, no air and take up very little space.

Return ?
I am skeptical of anything the govt claims except “we’re here to help you” and “it’s safe and effective” of course.

What for? To gather more moon rocks?
Actually, I know what for. To put a woman and a black man on the moon.

Why don’t we spend the money to buy Greenland? It’s closer and has oxygen.

“In 2027, we WILL return American astronauts to the Moon.”
Given it’s only four months til 2026, that’s a short time frame.

ok if no one else will say it, thank you Elon Musk and your now proven learning through iterative, limit testing fast development system. it works far better than any gov’t run system of requirements.

Race to the moon paid for most my upbringing.
My parents were employed by companies that
did the deed.
Most my all family also benefited from the race to the moon.
My only criticism is, why did we not occupy and create
a base on the moon to exploit its resources?
Now were at back at it, so we can go to Mars.
My understanding is we explore to find new things
to exploit and use what we find and learn to
improve our lives.
My call would be to make the moon trip a
common event, exploit the moons resources,
and then on to Mars.

Would be sort of cool. And it might shut the nutters up. But only might.

What? Are they going to film 🎥 this Moon landing in an old Air Force hanger in New Mexico too?

Let Whoopi Goldberg and Jasmine Crockett
be the first, 21st Century pioneer Black Women to set foot on

Celebrate all of them nationally.
Then leave them there.

I though Trump or someone in his admin floated the idea of taking up old spent nuke material and building several nuclear reactors on the moon. What happened to that idea?
