Cracker Barrel said Tuesday that after listening to its customers, it will scrap its new logo and keep the "Old Timer" in place.
"We thank your guests for sharing your voices and love for Cracker Barrel," the restaurant chain said in a statement to FOX Business. "We said we would listen, and we have. Our new logo is going away and our ‘Old Timer’ will remain. At Cracker Barrel, it’s always been – and always will be – about serving up delicious food, warm welcomes, and the kind of country hospitality that feels like family."
"As a proud American institution, our 70,000 hardworking employees look forward to welcoming you to our table soon," the restaurant chain added.

They already redesigned the interiors into a sterile, non-Christian environment. Changing the sign back won’t work.
It’s more important that they scrap their Woke CEO.
Maybe should have asked customers first...
Are they going to ditch rainbow flags and wokeness too?
It’s a modified limited hangout.
Who will take the sop? Gullible rubes.
Greg Wehner , Patrick Ward = gullible rubes
Cracker Barrel hasn’t agreed to quit donating to far-left causes.
Until they clean house of all the WOKE lunatics, the logo issue is meaningless.
It’s still stuck with the faux nostalgia. The wall collection of rolling pins and flour shakers are absurdly condescending.
Here’s hoping.
Exactly.
The logo change was only a fraction of the problem here. One could say it was done intentionally to tank the stock and either buy it at lower price, or just destroy the brand altogether. Those restaurants sit on valuable land beside the interstates.
Who comes in and completely destroys something that people have found so comforting for decades?????
These arrogant women need to be brought to heel.
Not, it is not ‘absurdly condescending’. Many of us who ate at CB had mothers and grandmothers who lovingly used rolling pins and FLOUR SIFTERS as they cooked for those they loved and appreciated the shout out and reminder of a safe and loving time.
This logo change probably would have worked if they left the barrel and re-named the restaurant, ‘The Powder Keg”.
“”This logo change probably would have worked if they left the barrel and re-named the restaurant, ‘The Powder Keg”.””
Or... they could have removed the barrel and left the old white guy and renamed their logo to “The Cracker”.
As I understand the CEO is only one year on the job, but their wokness goes back years.
Simply changing logo back won’t help, sadly CB is sour dough toast without major non-woke reform
Watched a video on once successful restaurants now gone or almost gone and almost to the last it was bad management, buy out by companies who had no idea how to run a restaurant.
Amazing how quickly once successful restaurants can vanish if wrong decisions are made
CB will probably join then even if they run a Sweeney commercial 😂
Cracker Barrel is our “go to” restaurant when traveling. We generally eat “lupper” (late lunch, early supper) and then drive 3-4 more hours. Prices have gotten to the point that I wonder how a young family can afford to eat there. What used to cost around $25 is now about $40. Other than price, my pet peeve is cold food but that’s more of a local management issue. While we are talking about Cracker Barrel, I suspect this is an industry problem brought about by higher food and labor costs. It’s tough to run a successful restaurant as evidenced by all the failures over the years.
My butt gets emotional every time I eat there and cries the worst tears ever. I have to spend 10 minutes in the bathroom before I can leave.
