My wife and I used to go out on make believe dates. It was usually an early dinner and then attend early evening show in the middle of the week to avoid the “weekend rowdies”.
It got so bad that even in the middle of the week, it became dangerous to get in there and to get back out without trouble. The last and final time we went, we were confronted, called names, cussed at, etc. as we were walking through the parking lot to our vehicle. As a concealed carry license holder and armed to the teeth, I did NOT want to be in a confrontation with em, but was fully prepared if it became a life/death situation. We just ignored em, got in our vehicle and drove off as quickly as we could. THAT was the last time we ever went to a movie theater and have no plans to ever attend another one.

I remember such things over 55 years ago. Two or three blacks, no problems. add a couple more and no problems. Then another one shows up and they go “Critical Mass” and become loud, Raucous and disturbing everyone around them. this happened often in military chow halls and movie theaters.
