I went to a family gathering last Sunday. My sister made sushi; some with raw salmon.
I didn't eat it because I don't eat raw fish sushi. I only eat non-fish California rolls.
They laughed when I told them I wasn't going to eat them.
I am vindicated. I made the right choice.

ABSOLUTELY you made the right choice! Before I was put on immunosuppressants I wouldn’t go near sushi.
I love tuna cut into steaks. The “gourmet” way of preparing it is just searing it on all sides, rare in the middle. Nope- not for me. It’s gotta be fully cooked thru for me to eat it. That’s why I cook my own, either in a skillet or on the grill.
I hope the lady took it back and got her money back.
