I had to put my dog to sleep . It was pretty traumatic the way they did it. It was not what I was lead to believe would happen.

Sick psycho bitches. They never considered the horse a pet. Just a utility. When the utility served its purpose it was disposed of - not even in a humane way but in a most gruesome manner to extract every bit of value out of the poor animal, even in its dying moments. That’s what the horse got for being a “pet”.

A previous article did say that all pets would be humanely euthanized before being fed to the zoo animals. Still...pretty gruesome to think about it. I wouldn’t want to visit a zoo & watch a lion tearing up a pony, dog or cat.

When we had to put our cat to sleep we held him while they gave him a shot and that was basically it. He went to sleep, stopped breathing and his little heart gave one last thump-thump and he was gone.

We gave him a proper burial but I know that for large animals that can be an issue unless you have a back-hoe.
