Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Monday that Ukraine is prepared to work productively in order to end the war between Kiev and Moscow.
"When peace is discussed for one country in Europe, it means peace for all of Europe. We are ready to continue working with maximum effort to end the war and to ensure reliable security. These are the key issues," Zelensky wrote on his X account after an encounter with United States Special Envoy to Ukraine Keith Kellogg in Washington earlier today, and ahead of the multilateral meeting with US President Donald Trump and European leaders in the White House.
The Ukrainian president shared that both teams discussed the battlefield situation and diplomatic capabilities, adding that Russia "can only be forced into peace through strength," and that the US President "has that strength." He underlined that Ukraine, together with its allies, "have to do everything right to make peace happen."

I don’t believe a single word from this dirt-bag.
Productively for peace. Hmmmmmm. Interesting choice of words. How much money do you want, Voldemoort?
I really hope this is his last chance. If Zelensky spoils this (he must give up land) then I hope the US walks away, leaves NATO and just says screw it. Let Putin take every last inch.
“I don’t believe a single word from this dirt-bag.”
Putin not only a dirt bag, he is a lying, evil, corrupt dictator.
At least twice he has violated signed agreements with the USA and Ukraine.
He talk a lot.
“Let Putin take every last inch.”
And then he goes after NATO countries and you put us into a real mess.
Yet he refuses to give up any territory. He’s lucky if he doesn’t get booted out of the White House again.
Agreed.....dealing with this midget and that russian snake.....it’s like playing whack a mole.
At this point you would have to wonder why he keeps the war going.
The Putin worship here by some is pathological. They can’t defend him so they make this about Zelensky.
“I hope the US walks away, leaves NATO”
We won’t.
Yup. And Biden would have been if he thought he could get away with it.
Your point is? As far as I'm concerned, the debacle that is Ukraine started with GHWB. He was right up there too.
“The Putin worship here by some is pathological. “
Either that or paid for.
He doesn’t want peace, because peace would mean the lifting of Martial Law, and the beginning of elections again. That’s the last thing the little man, and the members of Parliament want to happen. They’ve had six years free of elections to destroy Ukraine, and suck this country dry.
“Your point is?”
With his aggression, Putin has violated two signed agreement regarding Ukraine.
Putin is a lying, evil, corrupt dictator intent on reestablishing the Soviet Empire.
“At this point you would have to wonder why he keeps the war going.”
If Russia were to attack us, would you want us to give up?
It doesn’t have to be about anyone. But regardless of that:
Putin is pretty much unquestionably the greatest leader Russia has had. You could even extend that to the Soviet Union. Seriously, it’s not even close. He has elevated them via the overwhelming power of oil (his degree is in mineral economics) far above where they were in the Soviet days. Yeltsin, Brezhnev, Gorbachev, Krushchev, Stalin . . . he’s lightyears better for Russia than all of them.
His replacement would be Medvedev, the guy who threatens nuclear war every other day. The only alternative to him would be Igor Sechin, long standing Putin friend and presently CEO of Rosneft.
Putin policies have propelled Russia to prominence in space, too, with Soyuz the only launch vehicle to carry astronauts to the ISS for 10 yrs (and that includes American astronauts when the Shuttle program was ended with no substitute).
So the hatred of what is going on in Ukraine should not deceive people into thinking Putin has been a disaster for Russia. It’s quite the opposite.
