There’s no better example of how little faith Americans have that government officials will tell the truth than the public’s blasé reaction to UFO announcements. In the last ten years, The New York Times has run stories about secret Pentagon programs tasked with retrieving alien craft. Members of Congress have held hearings on “mysterious orbs” and invited government witnesses to testify about black budget projects supposedly reverse-engineering alien technology. Secretary of State Rubio and director of National Intelligence Gabbard have both suggested that the UFO issue is serious. Yet eight billion people around the world collectively shrug.
Can you imagine what the public reaction would have been like had national newspapers and prominent officials released similar details in the 1950s? With the 1947 Roswell Incident still fresh in Americans’ minds, government confirmation of UFOs would have been the most important story in the world. Every article written and television report broadcast would have been framed around the alien/UFO phenomenon.
For eighty years, UFO-hunters have been fighting for government declassifications and official disclosure of alien contact. Now that videos of strange sightings have been released and congressional hearings have been convened to investigate the matter, Americans don’t seem to care. Representatives Tim Burchett and Anna Paulina Luna have said explicitly that extraterrestrial visitors are real, and their statements disappear in a blizzard of news stories discussing the “Aryan micro-aggressions” of Sydney Sweeney’s jeans.
Nobody believes what government officials say. Nobody believes what journalists say. In our world today, fantastic stories come and go, and nobody knows if they’re real.

How arrogant are some to think, of all the potential places in the universe to explore, aliens would pick earth.
Then how arrogant further to think they would understand English as one "scientist" recently proposed signaling to them?
In a universe full of every possibility how arrogant to think that all species out there need water and oxygen to survive as we do?

And how would one distinguish the difference? Wouldn't a demon be alien to us? For that matter, so would an angel? Now if we get specific and use the term extraterrestrial, that would also likely be alien to us as well.
The problem as I see it, is that there is 'something' there. There is evidence of some parts of our history being unexplainable, but with widely accepted theories such as the various pyramids, Gobekli Tepe, buildings at Cusco, etc. the histories of past civilization have many common themes, but with different names for the events and in some cases persons. These are interesting, because we would be hard-pressed, if not impossible to replicate them. Let alone at a time when survival was of great importance, but let's go build some really complicated buildings with very unique features that we don't understand
So the question is if the truth is made available, how does this rewrite our history, or perhaps it doesn't at all , but just fills in some gaps.
There piece is that I've always found interesting is how some will completely laugh at the idea of intelligence life from another planet, but completely grab onto the concept of a demon or angel while being able to provide zero proof of either.
Scully from the X-Files said, "The truth is out there, but so are lies.", probably sums it up best. I've seen/experienced a few things that I can't explain. So until I can, I'll just keep an open mind and continue to read and research.

The evidence for UFOs is massive—whatever they are. The fact that it’s anecdotal to those of us outside the DOD, contractors, or the IC doesn’t make it false. After all, anecdotal evidence can be enough to convict someone all the way to the electric chair.
What it points to may or may not be the obvious explanation (“aliens”), but ignoring it—or dismissing those who bring it forward as “loons”—is just stupid.

UFOs/UAPs are galactic civilization’s equivalent of juvenile delinquents, joyriding through this backwater laughing-stock of the universe. Temporary abductions, (air) traffic stunts and physical probes sounds too much like irresponsible teenage hooliganism to me.
