Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, as he arrived in Alaska on Friday, said Moscow has “a clear, understandable position” and arguments to support it at the forthcoming meeting between President Vladimir Putin and his US counterpart Donald Trump.

Possession in 9/10 of the law. Without Europe stepping up to help with sanctions, especially on purchasing oil from Russia, there is no need for Russia to do anything. For all intents and purposes Russia can declare a ceasefire and consolidate their land gains.
And there isn’t anything anyone can do. Even Trump cannot do anything.
Especially since the citizenry of Donbas voted years ago to join Russia.
