United States President Donald Trump stressed on Wednesday that if Russian President Vladimir Putin refuses to stop the war in Ukraine during their meeting in Alaska, his country will face "severe consequences."

Speaking to reporters, the US head of state did not specify what types of consequences Moscow would suffer. However, he insisted that he would be putting pressure on the country.

The comments come after Trump's phone conversations with the European leaders. According to media reports, the US president told his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky that territorial swaps might be necessary.

Then Ukraine will reap the wind, if that is the case. It would be up to Putin if he makes a move to the US.

It's not our friggin' war.

How come there was no downside during the Biden Administration when this war started.

Zelensky thinks he should be able to go back in time....except 8 million Ukrainians have left, the country is in shatters, Russia occupies 20% of the country and the killing continues....on both sides.

And "Z" says...No Land for You??....Quess what...Russia already has the land..."Z" can't get that through his thick head.

You mean like the consequences that were supposed to occur five days ago?

**********

Blowing up the international oil markets with sanctions on 3rd parties who do business with Russian energy profucers, is economic stupidity on steroids.

I hope economic reality takes hold of our foreign policy, so the dangerous ideologues making these proposals are relegated to ‘barking at the moon.”

What are the severe consequences? And how would such actions affect US citizens?

This is a BIG moment. If Putin makes overtures towards peace it could reset the US / Russia relationship. I bet that slime XI is in Putin’s ear telling him no to. The same with Europe and Z.

And “Z” says...No Land for You??....Guess what...Russia already has the land...”Z” can’t get that through his thick head.

********

He’s a stubborn blockhead. The whole area is full of these guys. Maybe, the region & its history demand such qualities in their leaders.

Whatever is going on, the killing needs to stop and a new approach by both parties is needed.

Lol! Putin folded and agreed to the meeting at the last minute because he’s afraid of President Trump.

Try again , brainless. Trump is a JACKSONIAN like me. He is going out of his way to mediate this, between 2 second world Nations that can’t hold the USA’s jock. this is their last chance,. Otherwise, they can keep slaughtering each other forever, for all I care at this point. President Trump doesn’t make empty threats, Iran learned that. Anything else/

But Trump meeting Evil Putin sent you Zeepers into a rage.
We shall soon see what, If anything will come out of it.
I personally do not expect anything major to come from it.
But it could be a starting point.
