Didn’t the Climate ChangeCultists assure us that there would be more hurricanes? This is the first so far this year and the hurricane season is almost ended.

To: chajin
Mine also at this time. We were hit 3 times within 13 months and we are still cleaning up from Helene! It’s been too muggy this summer to do much. My hubby is out today cutting up dead trees we had to drop this weekend for safety’s sakes. I feel it will never end!

    Is Erin a woman’s name or a man’s?
Because if it’s s woman’s name, it will be completely unpredictable!

I don’t think so, hurricane season 6/1 to 11/3. Not quite halfway point.

    What is the latest?
I am on southern coastline of NC and am pretty worried. Hurricane Florence did a number on us back in 2018..

This one starts with the letter "E" so that makes it #5. And it's not even a hurricane yet. Have there been any actual hurricanes this year?
Accuweather.com
Dynamic hurricane season predicted for Atlantic in 2025 The Atlantic hurricane season starts on June 1, and it is poised to be a turbulent year with AccuWeather predicting 13 to 18 storms and warning of hurricanes that can rapidly strengthen leading up to landfall.

Problem is when there are no hurricanes until September, the water will be extremely warm. At least hopefully if Erin just stays at sea it will somewhat lower the water temperatures that the subsequent storms will be much less powerful.
