Thanks, this idea is great. I listen to and play too much popular music. I will add more classical music.

Out of all the music from “western” sources, being produced by musicians around the world, I do believe classical music to be the greatest contribution to that.

I love Classical music. I played it in high school and college and loved it then. That was 50+ years ago, and I still love it. I do need to listen to it more. The passage in the article about how Bach’s music is so TRUE.
And Mozart- AND Beethoven-AND Stravinsky, Copeland, Vivaldi, Telemann, and on and on…….

JS Bach Piano prelude in C Major.
A deceptively simple piece for a Soloist. A lesson for beginners, actually, but full of color, romance and affirmation.

Were it up to me, for President Trump’s second inauguration,
I would have chosen a piece by George Handel called
“Music for the Royal Fireworks. HWV 351, composed in 1749.
Don’t let the term “Royal” in the title throw you off.
This is a majestic, bold and joyful work, meant for extroverts, a piece meant to be heard at top volume. You are supposed to feel the force, from soles of your feet to the collarbone.

"The #1 Sound Your Brain Wants to Hear"
I always assumed it was the opening riff to, "Can't You Hear Me Knockin'?"

Vivaldi’s Four Seasons does it for me, especially Summer. Other than that, I’ll take some Zep any time...

I think Beethoven’s 6th was the music played during the creation.
