Classical music is fun to play, but I don’t enjoy listening to it.
Classical KUSC has an app. with 10 different streams, including one for music used in movies. The main channel is hosted. When KFAC was purchased and turned into a hip hop station, all the music was transferred to USC’s existing classical station. The hosts transferred over also. Give it a try.
Here's the hour+ recording of I Pagliacci with an amazing cast. Bjoerling, de los Angeles, Warren, Merrill, etc. Historic, and given the recording tech of that era, a "capture" worth a listen. For me, again.
Next, I think I'll look up Heifetz playing Bach's astounding Chaconne. Best wishes.
