I don’t know about “Christian Nationalism,” but I do know about common sense and family as the essential foundation for civil governance.
So what - the left needs to get over itself.
The Hill may as well be Media Matters.
My wife would be willing to give up her vote if it meant all women could not vote.
She can’t stand what sort of stupid, vapid results most women seek.
Women are stupid voters.

Interesting. So Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar go to a church that stones women to death for being raped, cuts off the heads of unbelievers and Christians and Jews should be killed or made slaves.
Funny how The Hill never seems to have a problem when Democrats call for redefining the family, making racist statements, making sexist statements about women being better than males, etc;
But when a Republican steps out of line, the eye of Sauron is upon them
A woman can vote if she is the head of her household.
so now politicians tied to pastors which often say outrageous things is a big deal??? Funny how they went overboard making excuses for obama’s pastor...
I’ve been saying this for decades ...
Socialism would disappear very rapidly if women didn’t vote.
Just sayin’.
If we’re going to continue the momentum built by Trump, we’re going to eventually have to examine the woerthiness of the 19th Amendment.
that’s a lot of Freepers too. men and women
I understand that there are more women, and a higher percentage of them vote. So politically women have defined US laws, policies, social policies... you name it ever since they were given the right to vote.
Women are (((the))) most important demographic and Hegseth won't need an advisor/expert telling him to distance himself from this.
But, it's the truth.
The first major legislation that women were behind: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women_in_the_United_States_Prohibition_movement
Women are (and this is sexist) are not only physically different which is obvious and difficult to deny albeit we attempt to do this as well in our egalitarian society today, but also emotionally/psychologically. This impacts how women think and the decisions they make and ideas they support. Women are much more nurturing, emotional (we deny this as well today in our pseudo sciences), social. For example, immigration: https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/21565503.2024.2378023#d1e548 This holds true for crime and punishment, the second amendment, etc...
That's not to say that women are bad, or all women are one way, they are just generally different, and probably for a good anthropological reason.
The human mind is a chemical/electrical calculator, and theirs is wired a bit different compared to men.
I know several Filipino, Vietnamese, and Chinese women. They all came to the US legally and are US citizens. They are the biggest Trump supporters I know. Most of the white women I know are libs including my one of my sisters. My other sister supports Trump.
This is a small fringe group that can’t make anyone else do anything. If Hegseth shares their beliefs (I am not saying he does) then he can’t compel anyone to go along with them either. I am am Orthodox Christian and I am not about to change my beliefs. On the other hand, assuming these people freely join together and accept these doctrines for themselves, I am okay with that. Live and let live.
Stop the presses. Stop the presses. Should be in ‘Breaking News’.
“Hegseth reposts story tying him to church with pastors who say women shouldn’t vote”
Nothing wrong with trying to correct a mistake.
