Trump's imposition of additional tariffs is "unfair, unjustified and unreasonable", the Ministry of External Affairs said.
Shortly after US President Donald Trump announced an additional 25% tariffs on India on Wednesday, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs issued a statement, noting that the country will "take all all actions necessary to protect its national interests."
The additional import levies have been slapped by Trump to "penalise" India for its continued purchase of Russian crude oil.
The MEA, in its statement, said India's imports are based on market factors and done with the "overall objective of ensuring the energy security of 1.4 billion people of India".

First they off-shored our jobs to India and then they started importing the Indians to our communities to continue the replacement of American engineers and programmers.

Lots of major universities in the US are dependent on Indian international students. I mean “really” dependent. The universities charge them top dollar to attend, and then use those dollars to fund the rest of the university mission, which would probably not be able to float without the international dollars.
The majority of international students are Indian, used to be Chinese, but now are Indian. So, Pres Trump’s issues with India will likely have very large financial effect on university budgets too.
Everybody in the world likes cheap chit until they are faced with alternative costs and liability. In my opinion and experience all Indian morals are purely subjective. Most people are that way as well but some cultures do have some principle based limits.
