It took me a long time to realize you’re just a troll.

Effectively, Trump is currently in his third term. He’s spoken about it that way. As a symbol, he wears a “45-47” hat, hinting the role of 46.

It’s a hypothetical question.

I’m not a fan of ‘dynasties’ and don’t have a dog in the fight. We don’t even know if we’d want a Trump kid or what they might do.

But what’s been done once is even easier to do a second time. I didn’t see the great gnashings of teeth over ‘NBC’ do anything to stop Obama or even slow him down.

“ Deal with it.”

You’re a nice little psycho Trump hater.

We could amend the constitution so that Trump would be eligible.

My issue is there is no one to replace him.

Trump was robbed of his first term but I think Vance would do fine. His style is different, but in substance very similar.

The legal issues are minor and can be cleared up by the Supreme Court. He can run if he feels physically able.

The 22nd Amendment is not a "minor" legal issue.

Nor is there anything for the Supreme Court to "clear up."

The 22nd Amendment is pretty clear. Trump cannot run again.

No, you can’t. First, will never happen. Won’t get 3/4th of states. Second, any amendment won’t apply to a sitting President, only future ones.

True that. But such an amendment would require 3/4 of the states to agree. Why would Democrat-majority states agree? Well, maybe to give that weirdo on the left a third term.

Best to let sleeping dogs lie.

BWAHAHAHAHHahahahahhahaha!!!!

Your habit of namecalling confirms your lack of intelligence.

At least you admit that the 22nd Amendment definitively prohibits Donald J Trump’s election to a third term as President. That puts you a step above some other folks.

You want to repeal Amendment 22? Go ahead! talk to the Congress and to the legislatures of the several States.

Good luck ...

If Trump ran for a third term he would destroy everything he worked so hard to restore and have trust in his VP.

Vance is every bit Trump's equal in terms of manhandling the press, but when he does it, he also demonstrates how stupid they are.

Well, he’s already run and won 3 times, so this would be his 4th term.

George Wallace was a lifelong democrat, he won 93% of the black vote in his last governor’s race.

They were legal permanent residents which is the basis of Kim Wong Ark.

They are NBC.

There is no exemption based on nonconsecutive terms in the text. What are you on about?

Well, some potential workarounds might include:

1. Running as VP and either having the President step aside or running the country AS the VP.

2. Same scenario but two steps away as Speaker of the House.

3. Overturning the amendment

****

Personally, it sounds to much like a burgeoning Emperor to me, creating a long-term problem via a short term solution. Also, NONE of his kids are qualified to be President. I am not talking about legalities here. They just don’t have what it takes and that too would create a monarchical or empire like scenario I am NOT down with. Somebody mentioned Tiffany, but her foreign born husband presents a problem for me (again, not legally ... Just ethically).

I also think Trump will have aged out of the job.

It doesn’t help that he refuses to groom anybody to replace him. His Achille’s heel is that he never stops being in competition with everyone all the time. Great for him. Not so great (in the long run) for the country.

He can’t be President forever ... And I wouldn’t want him to be.

Read it again.

“No person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice”
