A tsunami triggered by a massive underwater earthquake off the eastern coast of Russia, impacting Hawaii, Alaska, and the U.S. West Coast in the overnight hours, has now led to the eruption of Eurasia’s highest and most active volcano, located on the Kamchatka Peninsula.
Russian media Tass News said the 8.7 magnitude earthquake that struck off Russia’s Kamchatka was the “largest earthquake since 1952.” It cited the Russian Academy of Sciences, which now says the Klyuchevskaya Sopka volcano has begun to erupt shortly after the quake.
“Right now, Klyuchevskaya Sopka is erupting,” the Russian federal agency wrote in the post with an accompanying photograph of the volcano’s eruption.
Key facts about Klyuchevskaya Sopka:
Height: 4,750 meters (15,580 feet)
Type: Stratovolcano (steep-sided and symmetrical)
Location: Eastern Kamchatka, part of the Pacific “Ring of Fire”
Volcanic activity: One of the most active volcanoes in the world, with frequent eruptions recorded since the 17th century
Last eruption: Ongoing activity is common, with the most recent eruptions typically occurring every few years
Formation: Estimated to have formed about 7,000 years ago More footage of the eruption:

Both the tsunami-triggering quake and the volcanic eruption stem from tectonic movements along the Pacific Ring of Fire, particularly the subduction of the Pacific Plate beneath the Okhotsk Plate. This suggests a major stress release event in the Earth’s crust.
This kind of event cluster in rapid succession could indicate a larger regional stress redistribution, raising the risk of additional quakes or eruptions in adjacent fault lines or volcanoes (e.g., in the Aleutians, Kuril Islands, or even Japan).

In about 5 minutes...............
I was so hoping the tsunami would take out a few West Coast cities and either wash them out to sea - or at least clean off the sidewalks, as in San Francisco.
God ALWAYS gives a warning..........................
No, I am saying that just because the volcano eruption happened after the earthquake that they are necessarily related.
(Klyuchevskaya Sopka)
I suppose you’re gonna tell me
how mean I am if I suggest that
we toss Greta Thunberg into the
volcano 🌋 to see if that sort
of appeasement will work there
It’s just a theory but
it’s worth a shot IMHO
We attach her (duct tape) to a
GBU-57 and then have a B-2 drop
both from about 35,000 feet
The volcano 🌋 is only
15,597 feet (4,754 meters) tall
This HAS to work...
IMHO the harpazo event is up next
along with more push towards the
‘Peace and Security’ deal BUT only
time will tell
Meanwhile keep 🙏🙏🛐🛐✝️✝️
It might, or it might just piss it off....................
Look at the geology of the area. They can’t be unrelated. Huge stresses were relieved, which may quell further activity for a bit. Or not.
Well we might lose the gracious Greta
forever but it’s a risk we’ve GOT to take
As sad 😞😟 as that may be...
I’m especially glad that these fine
children were here today to hear that
Not only was it Authentic Frontier Gibberish...
That Peninsula contains one of tge 5 most dangerous volcanos on earth.
The other areas are..New Zealand, Japan, Indonesia, and IMO, the most dangerous on earth..Campi Flegrei.
There are just about three ways a near global extinction event will happen.
1. Volcanic.
2. Extraterrestrial-comet, etc.
3. Global nuclear war.
Place your bets on which will happen first.
Mine is on number three. Global nuclear war is hundreds of times more likely to happen. Yet, dont hear as much from the panic punks on that issue.
CLIMATE CHANGE!!! /s
Put a yuge valve over every volcano (even undersea ones) to control C02 emissions. /s
3 is avoidable.
2 is possibly avoidable.
1 is not avoidable......................
Gotta disagree on this one. All nuclear nations know that the price they will pay for starting a nuclear conflict is absolute destruction. You would only use nukes if you were going to lose anyway. Thus, you haven’t seen any direct conflicts between nuclear armed countries and no one will use nukes on a non-nuclear country for fear of retribution from the other nuclear powers.
My geologist friends tell me that we are overdue for a mega volcanic event and that there are indicators that areas that were once thought dormant may be quite active in the near future.
My money is on the volcanos.
Biological weapons worry me a lot more than nuclear weapons.
Thank you for someone finally meeting Risk. Probably the only reason why anyone knows that bame.
How ‘bout I take your little board and smash!
😃😄🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
(Biological weapons worry me a lot more than nuclear weapons)
Anthony Fauci has entered the chat ... 💬💬💬
Biological weapon ACCIDENTS worry me. As I understand it, the use of biological weapons is tempered by the fear it may backfire on the user. There have already been accidents in biological warfare development. Check out the genesis of Lyme disease, for instance. Only one of several.
