Ninety-one people have been killed while seeking aid in Gaza in the past day, the Hamas-run health ministry says.
In its latest update, the ministry says that overall 111 people have been killed in the last 24 hours. A further 820 people were injured, it adds.
It brings the total number of people killed in Gaza since Israel launched a campaign in response to the Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023 to 60,249 people, the ministry adds.
In a separate statement, the ministry says two people have died of malnutrition in the past day, bringing the number of hunger related deaths since the start of the war to 159.

Here's a bit more from the BBC:-
Deaths in Gaza
Earlier, we reported that dozens of people were shot dead while waiting for food close to the Zikim crossing in northern Gaza on Wednesday. The director of al-Shifa hospital now tells the BBC it received the bodies of 54 people killed.
The Israeli army said its soldiers fired "warning shots", not "directed at the gathering" in response to a "threat posed to them", and it was "not aware of any casualties" as a result of its fire.
Stop being so gullible. Hamas is lying through its teeth, as usual.
Hamas itself routinely steels the humanitarian aid, reserving it solely for its soldiers, denying that aid to the hungry civilians it is intended for. And it shoots those civilians who, notwithstanding, try to take the aid meant for them. It's how they maintain their power over the civilian population.
Well, maybe Hamass should stop shooting the people waiting in line to get care. But, of course, those killed will receive the full allotment of virgins for their participation in the cause...
Am I supposed to care?
Anything coming from the “ Gaza Health Ministry” ….is pretty much scripted propo.
I cannot believe that yo are so gullible that you believe the news from BBC. Here is a report on a similar incident from last month.
Inside the IDF “Aid Massacre” That Never Happened
Note what is said by Michael Nahum near the end of the video (minute 6:00 and onwards:
"It really is a fiction that Western media maintains a presence in Gaza. They do not."
It’s gotten to a point where I don’t believe either side and I’m not wasting the rest of my day trying to figure out who’s lying more than the other. After Oct. 7, both sides want to wipe the other from the face the Earth. Someday, Gaza will be a harbor off of the Mediterranean and any land within 100 miles will be extremely radioactive. Both sides will claim victory and blame the other for the next century.
Cool, your daily Pallywood propaganda.
No fake church burnings today? Slipping.
Eh, moral equivalence is weak.
Think about this for two seconds. If Israel wanted to “wipe out Gaza” it could have done so in two weeks.
This had drug along for so long specifically because Israelis have been absurdly careful to try to not hurt non-combatants, to their own detriment, while Hamas hides behind largely willing human shields.
There is only one good actor here.
Don’t let the propagandists wear you down.
He’s not gullible. He’s complicit in spreading propaganda. He does it multiple times a day and has for a year.
WRONG
My first post on the subject in weeks I purposely avoided recently and feel the same as @Dixie Yooper sometimes
Let them all starve.
I don’t care.

Those IDF snipers again eh? I know, lets believe hamassholes are well meaning and would never lie or mislead. (Facitious)
Killed by who?
Hamas usually kills palestinians when they try to get at the aid hamass is stealing.
If the UK invokes Palestine as a free state....Hamas wins.

Israel’s Gotta keep US tax dollar billions rolling in

President Donald Trump addressed the ongoing concerns of famine in Gaza on Monday, breaking from Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s Sunday comments in which the Israeli lied to keep the US tax dollars rolling in.....Netanyahu’s money grabbing whopper: “There is no starvation in Gaza.”
Trump was asked about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza while meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Turnberry, Scotland. “It’s going to be working where the United States will be helping with the food. You know, we have a lot of access to food; we got a lot of food ourselves, and we’re going to bring it over there. We’re also going to make sure that they don’t have barriers stopping people,” Trump said when asked about the issue. He added:
“You know, you’ve seen the areas where they actually have food, and the people are screaming for the food in there. They’re 35, 40 yards away, and they won’t let them because they have lines that are set up, and whether they’re set up by Hamas or whoever, but they’re very strict lines, and we have to get rid of those lines.”
“But we’re going to be getting some good, strong food. We can save a lot of people. I mean, some of those kids are — that’s real starvation stuff. I see it, and you can’t fake that. So we’re gonna be even more involved. We did some airlifts before, some airdrops, and the people are running for it. And the Prime Minister is going to help us. They’re very effective with that. You’ve done that before and for many. They’ve done that for 100 years very well, so it’s not very hard to do, actually.”
Widespread media reports have documented the dire conditions in Gaza in recent days as social media has also been awash with a typical amount of misinformation – including images taken from other war zones or out of context.
Aid distribution sites in Gaza have become flash-points of violence in recent weeks as Israeli shootings killed scores of Palestinians.
NYT posts photo of ill child with claims of Gaza starvation, then publishes “retraction”
There is widespread hunger in Gaza, which has worsened
considerably in recent months due to Israel’s official policies.
There’s Catastrophic food insecurity: According to the IPC, the global standard for measuring food insecurity, 470,000 people are facing catastrophic hunger, with the entire population of 2.23 million facing high levels of acute food insecurity.
Starvation and malnutrition deaths escalate: The Palestinian Health Ministry reported 43 deaths due to hunger in the five days leading up to July 23, 2025. As of July 26, 2025, 127 Palestinians have died from malnutrition since the conflict began in October 2023, 85 of whom were children.
Children are particularly vulnerable: Over 1 million children in Gaza are at risk of starvation, according to the U.N. Palestinian agency, UNRWA. Acute malnutrition rates among children have more than doubled in recent months, with 9% of children under 5 now suffering from severe malnutrition.
Gaza Hospitals are overwhelmed: and are continued targets if Israeli bombings. Hospitals are overflowing with malnourished patients, reaching their “breaking point” with 94% damaged or destroyed due to the conflict. Doctors are reportedly fainting from hunger while trying to treat patients.
Israel’s military creating Dangerous conditions for aid seekers: Over 1,000 Palestinians have died trying to access food in recent weeks. Distribution sites, some controlled by the military, have become increasingly dangerous, with reports of shootings and stampedes resulting in mass casualties.
Aid restrictions and distribution challenges: International calls are growing for Israel to end the restrictions on aid distribution, which some experts allege violate international humanitarian law. Distribution is further hampered by security impediments and a breakdown in law and order. Israel maintains the restrictions are necessary to prevent Hamas from diverting aid.
The situation is dire, with many organizations describing it as a looming famine.
Israel denies the existence of starvation but witness accounts and data from humanitarian groups paint a grim picture of a population struggling for survival amidst severe food shortages, violence, and restricted access to aid.
Since Israel prevents the limited resumption of humanitarian assistance into Gaza on 19 May, the World Food Programme (WFP) has only been able to bring in small amounts of life-saving food.
A desperate humanitarian crisis what to Israel is allowing happen in Gaza. Children suffering from severe malnutrition as 470,000 people face mass starvation. The humanitarian situation in Gaza has reached crisis proportions...
Israel’s military “emphasizes that combat operations have not ceased” in Gaza against Hamas, and it has asserted there is “no starvation” in the territory.
Yet Gazans starve to death as aid agencies warn Israel’s threatened “airdrops” won’t alleviate crisis.
It’s the BBC.
The U.S. provides Israel with billions of Christian tax
dollars in foreign aid, primarily for military assistance.
Here’s a breakdown of how that money is used:
Military Aid (Foreign Military Financing - FMF):
Israel receives around $3.3 billion annually in FMF grants, which must be used to purchase US military equipment and services.
These funds support Israel’s defense capabilities and help maintain its qualitative military edge (QME) over potential adversaries in the region.
Missile Defense Programs: An additional $500 million per year is allocated for cooperative U.S.-Israeli missile defense programs.
These programs involve collaboration on research, development, and production of systems like the Iron Dome, David’s Sling, and Arrow II.
Since the October 7, 2023, conflict with its self-made enemy, Hamas, the US has significantly increased military aid to Israel, with legislation providing at least $12.5 billion in direct military aid, including replenishing U.S. stockpiles intended to protect American families which are handed over to Israel.
This includes funding for wartime procurement and air defense systems like Iron Dome and David’s Sling.
Economic Assistance: Israel received significant billions of tax dollars for “economic aid;” Israel has now become a high-income country.
US tax dollars in Economic aid to Israel now primarily focuses on specific areas like “humanitarian assistance for Jewish migrants,” technological R&D, higher education, and healthcare.
The tax dollars to aid Israel is often justified by the U.S. government as promoting “US national security interests” and maintaining a strong relationship with a “key ally” in a volatile region.
However, 911 was plotted in Israel’s back yard but Israel was incommunicado——gave the US no clue———as “key ally” Israel allowed some 3000 Americans to die.
Israel’s Qualitative Military Edge (QME): Israel’s control of the US Congress is total-——it actually got a U.S. law passed that requires actions to maintain Israel’s QME, ensuring it possesses a superior military capability compared to its regional counterparts supported by America.
Some American taxpayer groups and individuals advocate for redirecting the tax funds going to Israel to US domestic needs.......
Or, better yet........reevaluating the US “security partnership” with Israel due to concerns about Israel’s use of tax dollars for genocidal military aid and human rights violations.
Americans? Israel could car less about Americans......
as long as the US tax dollar billions keep rolling in.
“ The U.S. provides Israel with billions of Christian tax
dollars in foreign aid, primarily for military assistance.”
“Dollars” are inanimate objects. They do not have a religion.
