He faced up to 10 years in prison but was released on a $5,000 bond the day after his arrest.
On July 30, 2025, the Justice Department moved to dismiss the charges against him.

He was federally charged but released without bail by a federal magistrate judge. Ginovanni Joseph Brumbelow: Allegedly attacked a Customs and Border Protection agent with a wooden stake during an anti-ICE protest in Portland. He faces up to eight years in federal prison for felony assault of an officer but was released without bail.
Deni Jungic Wolf: Accused of punching a federal officer in the head during a standoff outside Portland’s ICE office on June 16, 2025, causing the officer’s mask to be dislodged and exposing him to pepper spray. She was charged with assault resulting in bodily injury, which carries a penalty of up to 20 years, but was released without bail.
Eli Victor McKenzie: Charged with failing to obey a lawful order during the June 16 anti-ICE riot in Portland. The Class C misdemeanor carries a maximum of 30 days in custody, and he was released without bail. The two-tiered justice system lives on...
