True the Ballot: Launching in Earnest
True the Ballot ^ | July 28, 2025 | David A. Seyboldt

Today I was able to write, record, and produce seven 30-second commercials for True the Ballot. Here are the links:

Commercial 1

Commercial 2

Commercial 3

Commercial 4

Commercial 6

Commercial 7

These are amateur productions, to be sure, but a good start.

We are in the process of determining what budget is needed to conduct radio advertising in St. Joseph County, Indiana so that we can approach donors with a realistic goal.

We also joined the League of Women Voters because they are diligent in documenting all public officials.

It will be an uphill battle, no doubt, but those are the best kind.

TOPICS: Education; Society
KEYWORDS: ballot; candidates; catherineengelbrecht; constitution; davidaseyboldt; integrity; truetheballot
Over the years it has become evident that we never test a candidate before they appear on a ballot.

This effort, starting in St. Joseph County, Indiana, is meant to stop that.

We may meet with complete apathy. I don't know. But if we do, the shame is on us all.

“True the Ballot” has a non-partisan name and should act in a non-partisan way.

From my experience...and media stories... both parties cheat. It is just that the Dems cheat more.

One area that should receive attention is the 3d party vote. In 2020 both major party candidates had high negatives. But 3d party totals were below expectations. Why? It is likely that 3d party votes were stolen on the counting table.

There are many forms of vote fraud. But 3d party votes are probably the consistently major source of counting table fraud.

These days it seems “partisan” to require fidelity to the Constitution.

The League of Women Voters has caused a lot of suffraging over the years.

* ducking *

On a serious note, they are a left-leaning group, so proceed with caution.

Yeah. I totally get that. But if we do not engage them, we have no effect.

Our aim in associating with them is to aquire a database reporting all elected officials in our county so as not to reinvent the wheel manually.

We will nail down every elected official in our county and put them on notice in more ways than one, but saying in so many words, “Ignore us at your peril.”

And no partisan seems to realize that True the Ballot is a state issue, not a federal issue...per the Constitution.

The FEC and HAVA are the main reasons for recent problems. But how often are they investigated, their procedures and bribery of voting systems blamed on FEC and HAVA?

It is quite true that liberal dims often pose as conservatives to run as pubbies.

Simple solution: register as a dim. They will tell you which candidate to vote for school board, city council, or whatever.

Then, you vote for the actual conservative.

You can also vote in the dim primary for the weakest, craziest candidate.

It is also hilarious to read the propaganda they send you. Pathetic!

How many elections have you worked in?

I was a Poll Watcher or Election Judge in a number of elections. Never saw any fraud from pubbies; always the dims.

A few of the schemes I encountered and reported:

1. Phantom voters. The Operator has employees who go out and record the addresses of every mailbox accessible from the street. They invent names out of thin air and register them to vote. They then vote them absentee.

2. Activist A is at the front table signing in voters in a state that requires ID. Activist B, who is well known to A, comes in and flashes an ID saying, “I am Joe Blow”. A knows that B is committing fraud but allows B to sign the Voter Roll as Joe Blow and vote.

When the real Joe Blow shows up on election day he is told, “You already voted”. Despite his objections, he is not allowed to vote.

3. A well-known dim activist came in and handed a piece of paper to my dim Election Judge with an address on it. The Election Judge said, “That is one of your rental properties and I know the people living there”. The guy insisted on voting on that address.

When informed that Mr. Darth, the pubbie Alternative Judge was there, the guy started screaming at the dim Election Judge. She was in tears from the verbal assault.

I suggested calling the County to resolve the problem. The County Registrar said to me on the phone, “Yeah, we know who he is. Let him vote”.

The dim Judge told me that the guy had a lot of rental houses and she figured he voted once for every property that day.

4. Activist A is at the Ballot Computer for electronic voting. When his buddy comes through line, he hands his buddy 20 codes to vote. The guy then votes straight ticket 20 times rapidly without the busy election workers noticing.

This is the tip of the iceberg.

I suggest that everyone go out and volunteer for an eye-opening experience.

I worked every election Jun 1964 - April 1971 except 2 yr in the Army. Then again Aug 1998 - Apr 2014. AIll in IL. I dabbled a little in between 71 & 98 But can't call it “working”.

Working an election: Knock on every door in a precinct, R, D, I, registered, unregistered. Register unregistered to vote. Typically I'd knock on every 3 times. Typically I'd knock on every door in 5 precincts.

First wave 5 inner city precints where allegedly JFK stole the vote from Nixon. I doubled Eisenhowers vote, tripled Nixons vote. The same with other of the 60 precincts in the Ward. That 26th ward is one of the few places in the nation where AUH2O did better than both Ike and Nixon. Of course I did every local election and primary. In Il both the Westside bloc Republicans and the Dems stole votes. 1998 I adopted 5 precincts in working class mixed demographic Hangover Park. With me, the 5 precincts swung from 83% R to 13% R, depending on the quality of the R candidates. I could no support the R candidate when it was 13% R. He was that corrupt. And I was "big tent" R at that time. When I left The Black preachers wife took over and delivered 93% R with the regular Rs backing the Union Dem over the low tax, low spend candidate. I have "worked" over 50 precincts outside the two groups of 5, all in IL, from inner city to rural downstate. My experience is that very few voters straight R or straight D or straight LP. They lean to one party. But given a reason they will vote the candidate...and the candidate's ground troops ...over the way they lean.
