Patsy Cline version.
And now as they wander, their thoughts ever stray
South of the border, down Mexico way.

Did you get a picture?
They stay off the interstate. I see them often on Highway 173, Hwy. 16, Highway 83 all heading south.
Four years ago in October my wife and I were celebrating our anniversary with a road trip on I-70 in mid-Missouri. We were heading East. In the westbound lanes there were charter buses in both directions as far as the eye could see. When we stopped at a truck stop dozens of charter buses were stopped as well. Full of illegals being shuttled throughout the country like a metastatic cancer.
Hopefully lots of them are now heading in the other direction.
One recent raid shows they do have fear over alligator alcatraz

Pull the drive shaft and tow.
They have done it for years. Saw it all the time on 35.
An aside: What goes in to Mexico rarely comes back.....
They sell those vehicles south of the border. They do not want to take cash across the border because either the Mexican police will take some or the cartels or both.
So they take vehicles and, if you look inside of them, loads of stuff, household goods, stuff you can’t get in Mexico, to sell later.
Was Chrissy Van Hollen’s son, Abrego, one of the traffickers driving?
Junkyards take cars home from auction this way.
